A pleasure to use: great heat distribution, nice looks and it cleans easily. It's actually inspiring better food! A piece of advice, though. Handle it almost with the care you would use on non-stick surfaces, and it will reward you with easy-cleaning interior for years (mine is 2-years old, and heavily used). Scratch the coating on top of the enamel and food will start to stick to it, even though the scratches won't be visible. If food seems stuck to the surface (after a good roast in the oven), let it soak a bit and stuff comes out. Just don't try scrubbing it too hard. Another tidbit: the upper lip is not coated (the cast iron is exposed), and it may show rust if left wet for too long. Season that edge with a bit of oil, as with any other cast iron pan, and this won;t be a problem anymore. Or simply make it a habit of drying it quickly after use.

I recently purchased this incredible piece of Le Creuset cookware and, I have to say, I am very pleased and rather impressed by it. Just removing it from its package, with its heavy weight and gorgeous colour, told me that this was a quality made product. But the proof has been in the cooking..
Thus far I have made a delicious chicken and vegetable dish and cooked preserves for canning. Everything has turned out perfectly. Cleanup was easy after some soaking with warm soapy water. This is my first, but not last, piece or Le Creuset for certain!

I've made everything from braised short ribs to homemade Mole in this and I can truly say it is fabulous. Goes from stovetop to oven perfectly and retains heat better than any cookware I've used. Cannot reccomend it highly enough.

This Le Creuset 2-Quart Pitcher will be a collector's item someday. It is reminiscent of fiestaware collectibles. I use mine along with my collection of Bauer bowls when I set up an informal picnic buffet. Because it is nonreactive, this pitcher is great for serving juices and sangria. I would love to have it in every color!

I have been using a Creuset dutch oven for twenty-plus years and it is still like new. With this respect for the company products I was curious about their stoneware line. This pitcher was my introduction; I was not disappointed. This is a heavy piece of pottery and it makes the perfect alternative to the boring utensil crocks that the other companies offer. The color has the nice shine to it, just as the enameled pieces do. I have since gotten a pie plate and ramekins.

If you are familiar with the Creuset line, you will not be disappointed with this pitcher.

This is a very sturdy fabulously beautiful pitcher. As with all the Le Creuset products it has been made very sturdy and very beautiful.

If I could have only one piece of stove-top this would be it! It is the most versatile piece in my kitchen. Aside from it's assigned purpose of frying chicken -- this piece is great for beans, makes a great pot of rice (thanks to that heavy lid), and bakes a great cornbread too. It weighs just right for everyday use and cleans in a snap.

If you can only buy one piece of new cast-iron, make it this piece...

It's simply not possible to make real Southern Fried Chicken without a cast iron skillet. This Lodge chicken fryer is the perfect size and weight for making tender, juicy fried chicken at home - better than any faux Kentucky Colonel dreamed of!

I have a family of 5 and we use our fryer almost weekly. Works great for bacon to keep your stove top cleaner and anything else you want to cook.

After very thorough research I selected this pot rack as the very best & a tremendous value. It looks absolutely great in my kitchen and I was able to empty a large lower double cabinet loaded with pots & pans & lids etc. Which were continually scattered. What a tremendous difference! Everything is right there at eye level. Everyone who sees it, wants to have one. A fairly high cieling is a good idea and measuring beforehand is smart. It can store alot of items in an easy, convenient fashion. It MUST be secured to a good beam or better, a floor joist...you might want a pro to do that if the beams are concealed. My copper rack holds about 30 various pots and pans, and lids, and sizzle platters and everything. Maybe about 150 lbs. And beautifully & functionally. 5 STARS

I purchased this rack sight unseen with some trepidation. Mine is the 36 x 18 Chrome model and I could not be more impressed. Easy to assemble with only the installation of ceiling anchors being somewhat difficult for the average person. These must be anchored to a beam in order to support the weight.

I have owned other pot racks and shopped extensively in design stores and on the web for similar products and I have to say that there is, in my opinion, nothing better designed, engineered or constructed close to this rack at even double the price.

I recommend that you measure carefully being buying and use a stud finder or other device in order to ensure that you can hang this heavy rack as location will be dictated by the beams running across your ceiling. Hopefully you will find one that runs across and then location will be easy. Otherwise remember beams are located on 16" centres and once you find one the other will be located directly above the second hanging hook of the rack.

Buy this product........you will not regret it.

This pot rack is a heavy duty iron pot rack with a large storage capacity. When it arrived, I could barely lift the package by myself. Working together with my father-in-law, we had it assembled and installed in about an hour using a screw driver and pliers (not included). The assembly instructions were clear, so we had no goof-ups. I've got my pot rack mounted over an island that divides my kitchen from my dining room, where it provides a good visual separation of the two areas without blocking communication between them. It also has excellent storage capacity- -it holds all of my cooking pots and frying pans as well as their lids. I keep some of my extra-large bowls in the rack on top.

Since I'm only 5' 2", I get quite annoyed with most kitchen cabinets because they all seem to be too high to be of any use to me. But with this pot rack, the pots all hang down where I can reach them, yet they're still high enough so that my 6' tall husband can work at the island counter beneath the pots and not bump his head. To reach items on the top rack, however, I need to get a chair because it's about 7' off the ground. If the rack were hung any lower, then the hanging pots would get in the way of the counter, so you really need at least an 8' ceiling to use this rack properly.

I've been quite satisfied with the quality of this pot rack. The price was about a quarter of the one that our kitchen designer had originally selected for us. I can't imagine what extra features the luxury brand might have brought us because I don't see where this one has cut corners in looks or sturdiness at all.

Once I bought my first flexible stainless spatula I literally threw all my other spatulas out. The thin blade makes this a really versatile piece of equipment. I use it for lifting, scraping, scooping and even slicing. The best feature on this particular model is the handle. It's comfortable AND you can lean the spatula against a hot pan without fear that the handle will get too hot.

I just love this fexible spatula. I just bought a new frying pan and decided it was time I learn to cook eggs over easy. Well I tried the expensive flexible one from Sonoma and the eggs broke in the pan. My kitchen-aide spatula couldn't do the job either. I just happened to see this spatula in the grocery store and figured I'd give it a try. Well, lo and behold, it does everything I ever wanted a spatula to do. I can flip eggs like a pro now. Hooray for me and hooray for the OXO Flexible Spatula.

..and much much more. BUT, if you bake cookies a lot, this spatula is a must have! You can lift cookies off the sheet, right out of the oven *you know, when they're still in that baked, yet doughy stage*, onto the cooling rack, without them breaking! This saves so much time and messy cleanup, as I no longer have to use several pans to bake dozens of cookies. It will also gently lift up all kind of delicate foods without breaking them ..such as omelette's, fish etc. Buy this, you won't be disappointed.

Yes it works great, and you can fit lots of food on it. BUT - it didn't work so great on my ceramic cooktop, because of the way mine is configured. I could only fit the griddle on the biggest heating element and the smallest. Still, although it took a long time to heat up before I could pour the batter, it did a good job with the only fault being that it never did heat up the outer edges of the griddle where the small element didn't reach. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

This griddle is truly amazing. You can cook 12 small or 6 large pancakes at a time, or scramble 18 eggs. The deep edges keep everything where it should be, and the little gully around the side contains any butter while you're cooking your pancakes. We have a solid surface cooktop, and it works just fine, but I think it would do much better on a gas stove. The bottom is somewhat concave, which means it doesn't have continuous contact with the surface and takes a bit longer to heat up. But once it gets going, watch out! Cleans up like a dream. I could even see cooking burgers or fried ham on it.

This is the perfect fit for my dacor gas cooktop. The raised handles and pouring lip allow you to easily discard accumulated grease.
