I had another Hoover that was 2 years old and caught of fire. I found this one for 69.99 and thought I would give it a try. It has a much better suction than my old Hoover. I did one small section of my bedroom (5 x 5) and filled the canister with dog hair and dust. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because you have to make sure the onboard hose is securely attached to the output hose on the vacuum itself to make sure you are getting the maximum suction. It is a little messy to empty, but I just dump it outside in a trash bag and I am done.

I have NEVER found a vacuum as great as this one at sucking up dog and cat hair. I have three pets, two of whom shed profusely, and this vacuum is awesome at sucking up hair! It keeps my apartment clean and dust-free. My only complaint is that the attachment tube isnt long enough, you have to keep moving the vacuum around to get to the spots you need to. Other than that, this vacuum is the best. It was a gift from my parents and is a wonderful investment. Hoover.com even makes it easy to replace filters or broken belts.

I have only had this set about one week now, but I love these knives. They are sharp out of the box, easy to keep clean, and very versatile. The only problem that I have with these knives are the handles. They are a bit small, even for paring knives. Other than that they are great. I would definitely recommend Henckels to anyone looking for a good knife.

this set of knives is simply incredible - a MUST for any kitchen, especially a small one or if you just do a lot of quick small tasks. these things are SHARP, and, as standard for henckels, supremely made.

My only complaint is that the handle color of these knives is actually a distinctive dark gray, not black, which is fine except that I can't find a cleaver to match! They're wonderful knives for the price, however.

I recently picked up the french blade at [a store] and figured that it was worth a try for the price, and knew that I had always been happy with a Henckels blade. The first time that I used it I loved it. It performs comperably if not better than many of the more expensive and equally reputable brands that I had had the luxury of using while working as a sous chef. I highly recommend these knifes to anyone looking for a good, well-balanced blade that will perform. Take my advice, though, and hand-wash and immediately dry just to be sure.

The "real" Henckels logo is a twin, this set has only one. The steel is German, the manufacture is Chinese. My family has "real" Henckels knives that are 50 years old, I bought this set so we could take them out of circulation while the handles were replaced. These new knives aren't bad, they will certainly do well for "temporary replacement" or other light duty. But let's face the facts: you get what you pay for.
Having said that, the knives are pretty good, and the block makes safe storage very achievable. Just don't expect them to hold up forever. If you want heirloom quality knives that will hold up in daily use for the rest of your life (and your children's), be prepared to spend about 10 times as much. If you just want something to tide you over for a while, get these and start saving for the "real twins."

I know they say you get what you pay for, but I really like these knives. The price was about all I could afford at the time, and they've been great. They cut so smoothly, and if you take care of them they will last a long time.

This pattern is very unique and I would be interested in purchasing 8 sets if it came in RED.

I love this set. In addition to being beautiful, it's microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. I've bought 12 place settings plus the serving set, salt and pepper shakers, rimmed soup, salad plates, and 8 additional dinner plates. I get lots of compliments on my dishes, always. It's hard-working everyday china that looks like a million. Johnson Brothers is great. I wish that Amazon.com would carry more options than just the basic place setting.

I have owned the grain mill attachment for several months now, and I especially like it for its ease of use and compact-ness. It is so nice to own the Kenwood mixer with its extremely powerful and reliable motor, then purchase the attachments which are far easier to store than an extra blender, food mill, etc.

There is no comparison to milling your own flour as far as taste is concerned. The only problem I have is in adjusting the texture. They make it sound easier than it actually seems to be, although I might just be a moron and haven't quite figured out how to manipulate the dial well. That's probably the case, actually. In any case, the mill is worth the money, and you will likely not find a better deal on it.

I purchased this product about a month ago from Amazon, and it has far surpassed our expectations. Being allergic to wheat, I make all our foods from scratch and find that ordering organic bulk grains is a cost efficient way to do this. I purchased the Kenwood mixer several years ago and having only used well known professional mixers in America. I use this mixer almost daily and the grain mill several times a week to grind three or four pounds of grain at a time. I have burned out several different well known models that were supposed to have superior performance. Frankly, I would put the Kenwood mixer and the Grain Mill attachment up against all of them. Never a problem, great performance, easy to maintain and well worth the modest price.

I first was drawn to this cookware set because it came with a large stockpot which many don't. I received it for Christmas and know that it was purchased for a lot more than it is selling here. I was outgrowing the assorted cookware that I had accumulated and wanted to get something of better quality however did not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a set. This cooks so much better than the revere ware I grew up on and the things I had aquired. I can not imagine outgrowing this and will add the 3.5 qt. stock pot next. This is a great value!

I purchased this great 9 piece set hoping that it would be all that I expected...and it is!! It is heavy in weight, but not so much that it is hard to manuever on the stovetop. The 18/10 stainless steel cleans like a breeze and provides quick and even heating. I have used T-Fal, Revereware and Magnalite in the past and this set outshines them all in its quality! I only wish that the set came with the 3 1/2 quart saucepot and the 12 inch skillet...they will be my next purchases. I recomend this set to the new and experienced cook alike!

This is a very good basic coffee brewing machine. I have the Solea Time version which includes a programmable timer. The brewing temperature is near the ideal range (about 190 degrees F, checked with an instant thermometer), therefore, it produces good coffee. I like the compactness of the machine and nice curvy design. Like all Krups, the urn is conical, double walled, and easy removable for clean-up. My unit also came with a gold-tone permanent coffee filter. Programming the Solea Time is very easy. There's no trick to it.

One thing I was annoyed with is that the carafe it came with does not come with cup level markings. It's just clear glass. you have to estimate the amount of fresh water for brewing. Luckily, the water level indicator on the unit is easy to read.

The hourglass shape attracted me to this coffeemaker -- it's so charmingly different from the old rectangular one. When Joe DiMaggio stopped advertising for that other brand my husband finally allowed me to buy a Krups and I loved it. When the time finally came to replace it, the brand wasn't the issue (I like Krups a LOT), but I wanted something that looked different. This is it.

It's not only attractive, it works well. The handle is comfortable and the water level indicator is slightly magnified so it's easier to see than other models. It heats quickly, quietly and efficiently.

It makes a great cuppa Joe, too!

This is not only great for sorbets, which are my favourite, but can be used in many other ways. To be honest you can make so much use out of this item, it will always be used in the kitchen, and for all ocasions. The different colours can also be used according to what you are serving, and the type of guests you are having over.

The "Clear" Hobnail Egg Cup/Sorbet Dish is as versatile as its name implies. As an egg cup, it would hold a soft-boiled egg, which may have had one end removed with a cute "chicken-handled" egg clipper. As a sorbet dish, it would hold a small scoop of sorbet or gelato, with some Italian cookies on the matching 8-Inch dessert plate. I think one could find many other uses for this small decorative glass cup; be creative!

This lovely glassware is dishwasher-safe, but I recommend hand washing and drying to avoid etching or scratching.

This machine is must for any kitchen. It makes great drinks, and it is durable. It also looks good. Buy it and enjoy.

Please trust me, although I may not be an EXPERT on coffee, I know ALOT about espresso. I have worked in the coffee business for over 5 years. I have tasted the good, the bad, and the ugly. I drink espresso and espresso drinks regularly. Through my years of drinking espresso I beleive there are two things essential to the perfect cup. 1. The beans must be dark, oily, and finely ground. They must be of the highest quality you can afford. 2. The most important....your machine must be a REAL espresso maker. Forget about those combo coffee makers. Forget about Name-brand department store machines...they all have one thing in common. The espresso always tastes weak and you cannot control the strength of it. These ordinary machines cannot give you rich espresso topped with Creme( a frothy rich creamy foam that floats atop the perfect espresso). This is because no machine, except for industrial high-tech machines used in coffee shops, can carry the pressure necessary to create the perfect espresso. This machine can! I have used one, searched for one for YEARS...even looking in Italian papers...and here it is right at Amazon! If you are looking for perfection...you've found it! The hand-pull design allows you to control the strength of your espresso..thereby giving you superior tasting espresso drinks as well. I would give this machine 10 stars because you would have to go to Italy to find such a high quality machine..honest....I really do know this stuff.
