One of the best from the line
I have many of the items from the Multiclad line and this is one of the best pieces. For making small amounts of food, this saucier is awesome. If you have the matching top, it's even better. And the price is great.

Practical!
This is not the most beautiful pan in the world, but it is extremely practical. It is not too heavy to hold when full, is large enough for most dishes you will prepare, and is easy to clean. I use this pan all the time.

A great little saute/sauce pan
I have this pan and I love it. It is small but perfect for making small orders of tomato sauce, gravies, sauted garlic in olive oil, stewed fruit, etc. There are many uses for it, and it cooks great. No hot spots, burns, etc. Cleans up easily. The lid that goes with the Multiclad 2 Qt. Saute pan also fits this pan. I think is is a good value for the money, and every bit as good as All-Clad.

MultiClad is the best
I recently purchased several Cuisinart MultiClad pans. The first was the 12 1/2" skillet from our local Linen's & Things. I made the purchase because it was stainless and made well. Also, it was 50% off. It did not come with a lid so I came to Amazon.com for a lid. I ended up purchasing a Multiclad 12 1/2" braisier because it came with a lid and was cheaper than buying a lid from cuisinart directly. After using the pans several times I decided that I would purchase a 10-in and 8-in skillet as well. None of the skillets come with lids, so I purchased(from Amazon.com)Farberware stainless lids in the same sizes. They fit good and have come in handy in preventing splatter. Even though the Farberware lids fit, I wish that they were Cuisinart lids because the lid that came with the braisier pan can be put in the oven above 350 degrees(the limitation on the Farberware lids).

I have Farberware sauce pans and like them very much, but I like the Cuisinart skillets are much much better than the Farberware skillets.

The Cuisinart pans clean up great in the dishwasher as well. Although, the directions say that all you have to do is add hot water and some dishwashing liquid and let sit. I have done this as well and it works too.

I have also used the pans in the oven to warm up soft tortillas for fajaitas and it works good for that too. Remember that the handles get HOT. I mean hot even after sitting on the counter for 15 mintes, you could burn yourself if you don't use hot pads.

All in all, I would highly recommend the Multiclad line to anyone who wants value at a great price. These are pans that will last quite a while and not need replacing anytime soon.

a great Omelette pan
this is the 1st pan of without nonstick i have for omelettes. just made my one. i did use some oil spray (though i will try w/o it next time) and it was the best omelette ever. perfectly even all around. i cannot lay sufficient praise here. i will buy
this brand next time - no need for the nonstick type (i hear health related worries).

...

Superior
This is the second multiclad piece I have purchased. There is no doubt in my mind that I should have gotten a complete set. This pan will not burn an egg unless you try very hard to do so. The egg slides around the pan throughout cooking. In the multiclad windsor pan I have, even thick cream soups refuse to scorch. Cleaneup, therefore, is a quick swish. The structure of the pan is rock solid and it is beautiful. Combined with affordable price, who needs All-Clad?

Great Multi Use Braiser
This pan is in addition to my other mulit clad pans that I have. One of the several uses I have used this pan is to make Osso Bucco, also known as braised veal shanks, both on top of the stove and in the oven. It goes from stove top to oven without any problems. The dome lid really helps to keep in the flavor and juices without letting it all boil away and leaving dried out meat or worse a burnt dried out pan. The pan also is great from removing from the oven, removing the meat and then letting the juices reduce to thicken over high heat. Other ways I have used this pan is make Spanish Paella, to saute vegetables for a side dish and have even done a flambe of cherries jubilee for a dinner party. The pan is balanced and heavy enough to allow the sautuing motion without the pan dancing around on the burner. Everything I have used this pan for has performed well in it including using it to float candles around a pillar candle for a different type of table centerpiece for a recent holiday. Clean up on this pan is a snap. Just fill it with hot soapy water and let it soak for a short time, then wash as usual. I keep both inside and outside looking brand new with an occasional rub of Bar Keepers Friend cleanser. Its a great pan at a great price. Its also a great addition to any cookware set one I highly recommend.

great value!
Cuisinart's multiclad pans perform as well as the much higher priced All clad. Food doesn't stick, and clean up is a breeze. I love the braiser and use it often. It's perfect for searing meat, then finishing it off in the oven. Also great for stove top dishes like osso bucco. This is one pan I would not want to be without.

Truly excellent pan
I bought this on Amazon's deep discount for the Multiclad line, which appears to be on closeout. It's a great all-purpose large pan. I bought it instead of buying a 12-inch skillet or Le Creuset-style buffet casserole. It's versatile as you can use it on the stovetop, or in the oven as a baking/braising pan, and then you can serve with it. The quality is very high, perhaps a half-notch lower than all-clad or KithenAid pans, however this was much much cheaper. Functionally it is 10/10ths on par with the best clad lines, however and will certainly last a lifetime. The thickness of the aluminum layer is equivalent to All-Clad's braisers, and slightly thinner than KitchenAid. It heats very evenly. The handles are securely riveted and the lightly brushed finish on the pan is very easy to clean. The lid is domed (more useful than All-Clad's flat lid) and is highly polished (warning: never scrub the lid with anything - like all stainless pans, it will scratch). It cleans up easily and was certainly worth it at the clearance price. Add'l note: people on a budget looking for clad pans should look at the rest of this line. The clearance prices are good value.

An essential in my kitchen
I often cook by starting an item on the stove and finishing in the oven. This pan combines non-stick with a handle that will go in the oven and is a great size for feeding 4 to 6. The non-stick surface has been very robust and performs flawlessly. The clad pan cooks evenly and browns like few other non-stick pans. I have used several commercial aluminum non-stick pans in the past for stove-to-oven, but none of them perform as well as this one. This is now my go-to pan in the 12 inch size and I'd get a 10-inch if I didn't already have an All Clad. My one criticism is that the handle is not quite as comfortable or secure in hand as the All Clad handle, but its a minor flaw, and easily overlooked in a pan about half the price! Highly recommended.

Perfection
This pan is so easy to clean inside and out. Worth it!

I love it!
I love my Emerilware frying pan. It's solid, non-stick and big, so that it makes making eggs a breeze! Cleans up easily and the handle stays cool while cooking, and it has a loop so you can hang it on a rack. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that it says Emeril in script on the bottom of the outside of the pan, so when you hang it, it shows. I also wish I could get a lid for it. But, otherwise it's exceptional and for the price it's really worth it.

AWESOME PRODUCT
Having gone through MANY kitchen utensils bought at the local department stores, this one is WELL WORTH the extra investment!

I just love it
I just love the different kitchen utensils that I now own from this line. The handles are just great, easy to hold, and they seem to work great for any size hand. My husband, and even my 9 year old daughter has used these with ease. When using with non stick cookware, there has been no problem at all with any scratching. Emeril, you out did your self on these.. Great value!! I highly recommend...

The last slotted spoon, I will ever need to buy.
No matter whatI am making, if it be my candied yams. Or a haerty stew, I have yet to find any thing that I or someone
in the family makes that will not come right off from the spoon.

I love this pan!!!
This is a really affordable alternative to the All-Clad 12 inch Stainless steel pan. Not only is the quality of the manufacturing up to All-Clad's standards (ie worthy of the All-Clad brand name), it performs extremely well as well. Although the aluminum/copper disk is only on the bottom of the pan (it doesn't come up the sides), it seems to cover all the necessary surface area. The result is a pan that heats extremely evenly, has absolutely no hot spots, and is extremely responsive to heat adjustments. I use this on an old electric stove too, so this is impressive! Cleanup is surprisingly not too bad (I was afraid that food would stick, but a brief dip in hot water seems to do the trick), although to keep the beautiful finish of the pot (and avoid the swirly heat stains common to using stainless steel pots) I would recommend using a stainless steel polish. Makes it look like new.

I've had this pan for several months now, and highly recommend it.

This is a great pan !
My husband and I recently rented a vacation home in Florida. The people had a set of Emerilware pots and pans and I was very impressed with them. I personally have a set of Cuisinart stainless steel cookware which I very much enjoy, but I have to say that I fell in love with the 12" Emeril frying pan. The weight of it, the ease of cleaning, the handle and the overall quality are wonderful. I am thinking of purchasing one even though I don't need any more pans !!

This is a GREAT pan!
The 8/18 12 inch fry pan by Emeril is outstanding. I bought it to replace a Belgique fry pan that was about 15 years old. The small rivits holding the handle to the pan just popped and I had to throw it away. I went looking for a good replacement and I found it in the Emeril 12 inch pan. This pan more than filled the bill. I have no doubt at all that it is really superior to the Belgique. It cooks more evenly than any frypan I've ever used, and the handle is rock-solid and doesn't get hot. The even cooking is due to the aluminum and copper bottom. The pan also cleans up very easily.

One of the things I like about the Emeril pan is that it has rivits that won't ever break. The pan is made by All-Clad, and is identical to their 12 inch pan, but at less than 1/2 the price. Really, if you are looking for an ideal fry pan, this is the one to get. It looks and feels good, is solid, and cleaning is no problem. It think it will outlast me!

Amazing Everyday Use!
These bowls are perfect for everyday use. Infact, I find myself eating atleast 2 meals a day in them! They heat up in the micro and look great on the table. Very durable and heavy enough to provide some gravitas to your next meal, be it oatmeal or pasta!

These are fantastic!
I have the white bowls. They are great for soup or stew or pasta--large enough for maindish servings. They are very attractive and sturdy. Highly recommended.

PASTA PERFECT AND SALAD SUPREME
These bowls not only add a cheery, appetizing look to our table, but they're perfect for both pasta dishes and salads. The Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad is a favorite, and the red of the bowls makes the lettuce look even crisper.

Whatever your preference in pasta - spaghetti, linguini, ravioli, all are well served (pun intended) with these bowls.

Last but not least the bowls are almost indestructible - microwave them, pop in the dishwasher, keep warm in the oven, or even run them under the broiler. After repeated use the color retains its original bright hue.

The hardest working platter in my kitchen...
...and, believe it or not, the most attractive, too. This platter makes anything presented on it instantly more attractive and, I notice, more likely to be gobbled up. It's great for roasts and other main dishes such as shrimp with a side of fried rice or orzo; it's equally at home as a bed for crudités or even desserts.

After years of hard use (banging around our busy kitchen and lots of unceremonious trips to and from the dishwasher), you would expect to see at least a little nick or some slight scar. But no. The platter looks as lovely as the day I brought it home from Paris. Possibly its heft contributes to its marvelous durability; it is a better platter for serving from than for passing around. That understood, it will make a beautiful and functional contribution to many kitchens.

NICE SIZED PLATTER GREAT SHAPE
BEATIFUL PLATTER,NICE SIZE,A 20 PUND HAM FITS NICELY.AND THE COLOR ( COBALT BLUE) BRIGHTENS THE TABLE.

Emile Henry Couleurs Serving Platter -- Love IT
For a country kitchen with flair, Emile Henry does not fail. This serving platter is wonderful to hold and use. It's design is strong with clean, yet, graceful lines. It will work with almost any table setting, but, the wonderful thing is that when you hold it in your hands, you are holding something beauiful. It's substantial: it's wonderful. I gave it to a friend of mine who nearly dropped it because he was so impressed! No kidding!

I give it as gifts... SO THEY WON'T STEAL MINE!
I hesitate to bring 'Emile' into public settings, because people are always trying to walk off with this favorite pie dish. Originally bought this back in '95 at an exclusive Kitchen boutique (hello $$$) for its good looks and solid feel, but quickly discovered that their 'special Burgundian clay' was not just a marketing gimmick, but really helps maintain a crisp crust, even with the juiciest of fillings - the heat-conducting material also seems to get the filling hotter quicker, so you don't end up with a singed top crust. When they say 'deep dish' they are not kidding: you can really pack it into this dish. The fact that it goes freezer-to-oven-to-dishwasher is no small bonus, either. Previously not much of a pie baker, I have somehow now acquired (along with 2 additional 'Emile' pie dishes, a reputation for my pies. If you take yours into public, just be sure to write your name on the bottom with a PERMANENT marker, or you may never see it again!!

great pie dish
Before I got this dish I baked a couple of pies on thanksgiving, one in a Pyrex dish, the other in one of those disposable things from the supermarket. I bought this because it was so pretty, and it made me feel special to have such a nice piece. I bought the second one because I began making pies more often, and why should only the apple pie look beautiful on Thanksgiving? The pies seemed to cook better, but I wasn't sure if it because they did or I liked the pans so much. Last year I made two pies for some guests to take home in those tins from the supermarket and oh, my what a difference. They are certianly not a kitchen requirement but if you like how they look and want to treat yourself they certainly are nice. Oh, and they clean very easily as well. ...

Rustic Pie Dish
One of my favorite desserts to make is deep-dish caramel apple pie with streusel topping. I bought this green Emile Henry 9-inch pie dish to make that recipe, and I was so pleased by using the dish that I soon bought more matching pieces. Emile Henry has been manufacturing their individually-crafted pieces for more than 150 years in France, but they've only been available in the United States for about 20 years. This pie dish is their signature piece, with its fluted edge and ribbed exterior. It's hard to see just how beautiful its transparent color glaze is from the picture. It's made of high-fired Burgundy clay, and its glaze is resistant to cracking and crazing when used in a microwave or conventional oven, or under a broiler. It's dishwasher and freezer safe, too. There are a few cautions: use an oven mitt or thick potholder because the dish can get quite hot, even from the microwave; don't put the hot dish on a cold or damp surface; and don't put the dish directly on a stovetop heat source. This pie dish is very durable, chip resistant, and has a one-year warranty against breakage. I also use it to make sweet and savory tarts and fudge pie, which is difficult to bake to a proper consistency in any other pie dish than this one. The earthenware holds the moisture in and ensures that the pie is baked evenly through the center.
