When the old Toastmaster literally flamed out I went looking for an upgrade without spending $60 for a toaster. This is it!
Attractive, functional, efficient - a very good deal.

Perfect toaster. This is a very very awesome toaster. Way above the regular Black and Decker, or any other Toaster out there.

I like the cool electronic buttons on it, i.e. Cancel, reheat... etc.

I just ordered and received, from Amazon.com, a Cuisinart MP-14 (Limited Edition Metal 14-cup Food Processor. This new Cuisinart replaces my original 1977 Cuisinart, bought to make baby food for my infant daughter. Of course, as anyone who has ever used a high quality food processor knows, by 1978 that Cuisinart had seen a lot more, and a lot heavier duty than mere baby food pureeing!

That original Cuisinart is still going strong, but resides with my daughter, now an adult and newly married. She laid claim to the Cuisinart somewhere during her high school baking and breadmaking phase, and instead of registering for a new model during her wedding, she happily absconded with mine when she set up her household and I took off for life in SW Florida.

After a year without my Cuisinart, and making do with a small, outdated Oster mini processor, I gave myself a Valentine's gift an bought the Cuisinart MP-14.

Why?
-Because I am tired of hand making the bread doughs I love to grill as pizza or flat bread over the open flame of our outdoor grill.
-Because I am tired of scraped knuckles and sliced fingers from hand graters and razor sharp mandolines when shredding or thin slicing veggies for slaws, tempuras, or Potatoes Anna.
-Because I like to grate hard and soft cheeses in bulk for adding to lasagnas, topping pizzas, or blending into savory shortbreads and hor d'oeuvre pastries.
-Because I like to make my own chopped pork and beef mixture for Swedish meatballs.
-Because I love the speed and ease of a food processor in making bread crumbs, apple crisp and pie crumb toppings, chopping chocolate and nuts, and mincing and blending large quantities of garlic or herbs for dips, herb butters and spreads, or pestos.
-Because my daughter also laid claim to my heavy duty KitchenAid mixer, and it looks like this whisk attachment is going to be fine for mixing cheesecake batters, whipping cream or putting the final whip finish on mashed potatoes, as well as frothing the egg custard foundations to chocolate mousses and flourless cakes.
-Because I believe in the Cuisinart product line, which has proven itself to me for decades. I believe my newest Cuisinart will to be worth every penny, and perform flawlessly and efficiently for generations to come!
-And because maybe, just maybe -- in the not too distant future -my new MP-14 will whip up even more wickedly wonderful batchs of baby foods!

Cuisinart - I love you, and I adore this new 14 cup heavy duty MP 14 with whisk attachment, bread dough mixing blade and the dough setting to prevent overheating the dough. You are making my Valentine's Day very sweet indeed!

This is a great food processor. It is surprisingly quite when operating. This machine has all the power you need to do any job in the kitchen. This is a really quality item. For those blessed with the money this item is worth every penny.

Our family decided to get rid of the old cheap pots we had and upgrade to a much higher quality. After doing some extensive research on the Internet, I decided to get the highest quality 3-ply stainless steel cookware I could find at the lowest price. We ended up purchasing this pot as well as a few other Cuisinart Multiclad open stocks (buying open stocks was more expensive than a set, but we were able to get exactly what we wanted).

The first thing I liked about the pot once it arrived was the look. It was very striking, particularly due to the highly polished interior. I also liked the long, grooved handle with an indentation for the thumb to rest. I also like the option of being able to use these pots in the oven (just need a few tasty reasons to do so). But best of all was the way it cooked. For instance, in our old pots we had to use lots of water to cook beans, we had to keep watching it since we couldn't place the lid on all the way because the contents would bubble out of the pot and onto the stove. It also took forever for the old pots to heat up (I thought it was because we had an electric stove).

But with the Multiclad pot, we use a lower temperature, less water, and we can put the lid on all the way without worrying about spillage. The fully closed pot helps the food cook faster. The pot heats up quickly and evenly, and cleanup is a breeze. You can use a dishwasher, but why bother if you can simply wipe it clean and put it away.

We are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend the Multiclad line of products for those who desire better cookware without spending too much for All Clad or some other expensive 3-ply cookware. Also compare Cuisinart with Calphalon 3-Ply Stainless.

We have bought several pieces of this line and love them all. This is a good size both in volume and physical dementions to accompany our othe pieces and to use with the double boiler.

I own virtually all of the MultiClad pieces, and have found each of them to be a terrific alternative to the more expensive All-Clad. This Windsor pan has excellent heating properties and comfortable handles. Balance is excellent, and makes using the pan a joy. I have found that the pans heat uniformly, and no hot spots form during cooking. The sloping sides make the job of whisking or vigorous stirring much easier. The brushed exterior doesn't show scratches, but the lid might if not taken care of properly. The vacuum seal formed during the cooking process is great for many types of food, and speaks to the perfect fit between the pot and the lid. Cleanup is very easy. Even sticky messes, such as melted caramel or pralines, clean up easily with a quick soak in hot soapy water. No need to use harsh abrasives! And for heaven's sake, don't use steel wool on these great pans. There's no need! Also, one should never place a HOT pan (of any type) into cold water, so always makes sure that the pan (if still hot from use) is placed in *hot* water for soaking. Overall, I am very happy with this line of cookware. I did have a problem with a 12.5-inch MultiClad Braiser pan I ordered. The lid was ill-fitting (warped) when it arrived, and it has been sent to Cuisinart for a replacement. I don't know if this happened at the factory or during shipping. Time will tell if Cuisinart will back up the warranty. You can read my review of the MultiClad 12.5-inch Braiser Pan to find out. I will post that review (if) and when I get a replacement from Cuisinart.

I jumped on this pot...we have only usedit once to cook rice. It turned
out some of the best rice we ever cooked. It washed easily also...
We used it to make candy-fudge,peanut brittle and pralines. Fantastic how it heats evenly all over!!

I just recently bought the Cuisinart TOB-30 Classic Toaster Oven Broiler and I love it. When using a toaster oven, crumbs and food often fall below, making a huge mess in the bottom of the oven. Well, the TOB-30 has a metal tray at the bottom that simply slides out for EASY cleaning. Also, this toaster can hold 6 stuffed peppers, a 5 pound chicken, or a 9 inch pie. So, it is practical for everyone, whether you just want to make toast or cook an evening meal. It is the perfect size, easy to use, and most important-SO EASY TO CLEAN. Definately worth the money.

I like this appliance. It's no-nonsense. The design is straight-forward. The oven heats quickly. And the toaster does a better job than my conventional toaster. It browns the toast, yet retains the flavor of the bread. I haven't used the broiler yet. After two weeks of use, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

I have hoped by now that I would see a review on the DeLonghi Retro Panini Grill CGH800 and have been looking since October 2003. I have read other reviews on competitor's models, but to date no one has written in on this wonderful unit so I feel I should.

I had a bad experience with another Panini Grill, also comparable in price but with handle breakage problems. In the reviews for the one I had purchased prior there was another with the same problem. I was hesitant about getting another, but I loved the concept and was willing to try another brand with high quality standards. In November I purchased this product.

The unit is very heavy and well made, and the handle is strong. I have made many Panini sandwiches and everyone is excellent. The grilling of the sandwich takes about 4-5 minutes and produces wonderful grill marks and the contents inside are very hot. I have used homemade bread, French bread, rye bread, pitas (which I feel are too thin) hoagie rolls and even store bought rolls all proving wonderful.

The combinations of sandwich fillings for Panini's are endless. I serve a large Panini with a bowl of soup for an easy weeknight dinner and a change of pace from the many recipes I make on other nights. We really look forward to each and every one and I am not disappointed in this product.

I want to comment on the non-stick - it is absolutely wonderful! Cheese or anything that may ooze out just comes up with a piece of toweling, nothing ever sticks. I have not grilled meats on it as I have three sizes of another well-known grill, but have grilled zucchini along side the sandwich. With the excellent coating I would not hesitate to cook meats and I like the fact that it has a trough for the grease to drip into the cup that is provided.

I also have not used anything but the highest temperature on the control as I only use this grill for Panini sandwiches, but I am sure that it would be perfect with something that needed a lower temperature. Also an additional plus, --it certainly would be ideal if my husband was not finished with something I served first and the thought that I could keep sandwiches warm and not burn the bread by turning the temperature to a low (keep warm) setting for sure is a wonderful addition to this product.

The product is pricey, but if you want quality and long life --this product is worth the investment. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have used it for both panini sanwiches and grilling meat and have had great results.

No on/off switch though, kind of a hassle, but compared to old wolfie's grill, this is top of the line.

clean-up is easy, temp control is a plus and very fast cooking time. 1" chops in 8 min WOW!!!

I bought this urn recently to complement a West Bend urn I already owned so I could have urns for both decaf and regular coffee when I entertain. Now I wish I had two of the DeLonghi. The clear tube outside shows the water/coffee level, and the interior basket is marked so you don't have to measure the grounds before filling. Two lights, red and green, indicate when the coffee is perking and when it is ready for serving. Even unplugged after brewing, the coffee is kept hot for hours. Easy to clean and high-tech looking with its stainless steel and black exterior, this urn makes a great addition when entertaining large groups of people. (Perked coffee takes longer to brew than drip, so start the brewing a half hour or more before the coffee is needed; this urn brews quicker than does my West Bend, but it still takes time.)

I highly recommend this urn. I don't think there is a better one on the market.

At the store I work for we have a DeLonghi Coffee Urn and can barely keep the thing filled. The staff have to refill the thing up at least twice to three times a day because half of the people alone who do partake of our free goodness are drawn to the looks of this coffee urn alone. Which is why we occasionally have to wipe the finish because so many people want to handle it. It draws people to it, unlike other large unseemly cumbersome coffee urns, this one is very easy to handle, and to clean. Why you would want to store it away and use it on occasion I don't know. I would buy one, except we have one at work and, well, I drink too much coffee there and at home as it is. Coffee is good! And if the coffee is good, the urn where your friends, customers, and family get it should look good also. People pay a lot of attention to how things look, and pure utter stainless steel goes with everything. It even makes the stryofoam cups look good.

A nice assortment of sizes, shapes and color. You COULD pay three times as much for parchment leaves with more realistic coloring at another housewears site, but I found these very acceptable. And the price is the best I've found.

I have used these beautiful parchment leaves when entertaining many times. They are an elegant way to present various appetizers especially an assortment of imported cheeses, stuffed grape leaves, or other finger foods. When overlapped, the leaves help protect your serving platters and trays and make it easier for your guests to serve the cheese (prevents the cheese from sticking to the serving trays). The leaves can also be used to decorate your menu, invitations or simply scatter on a table for added color.

It is powerful (little loud and it does blow from the side vents quite strong). It has a little built in brush which is great for sofas. The basket is small and needs to be emptied frequently to get the full power of the vac. I wish it had a stick to I didn't have to bend the whole time I was using it. When it's clean it will pick up the scattered sand from the cat box which many others don't do and it does a great job on dog hair. It has a little extension nozzle for getting under the frig and in the corners. I use this and the Eureka Boss stick vac, with rotating brush for carpets, daily and only need to use my full size vacuum a couple times a month. It's definitely worth the money.

This hand vac is great! It has perfect suction and a good amount of run time. The suction hole is a good size and the debris cup is large, easy to dump and rinsable. Filters are super easy to find and order at dirtdevil.com. The quick flip crevice tool is very handy. This vacuum is very nice. I've owned it a month and use it often to clean up after my kids. It works beautifully.

The Dirt Devil appliance is perfect for stairs, corners and anywhere else that is difficult to reach with a standard canister or upright vacuum cleaners.

I strongly recommend this small vacuum cleaner to anyone.

What a great little product. The extra-long cord is really usefull. I ran out of bags, so naturally I came here to get more. Very easy to install and discard. Would'nt have it any other way.The five stars is naturally for the whole appliance, bags included! Go for it.
