I bought a set for my girlfriend and she LOVES IT! The pieces keep their mirror finish even after repeated dishwasher cycles and daily use!

I agree with all the other reviews and recommend this set of silverware highly. I'm looking to add to my set and am thrilled to find that it has not been discontinued after all these years. I can attest to the sturdiness of this silverware as all my pieces have been through all different uses such as a screwdriver, ice cream scooper, scuff mark scraper, staple remover, etc. not to mention for eating with!

A really lovely set of silverware. The design is simple and would look nice with any dishes, and is not too flowery for any men in your household. The pieces are heavy and rounded in feel. The sizing is "continental," i.e., larger place spoons and forks. The larger spoons are useful for soup.

To use the Mikasa Summer Grove Stoneware is a delight to set before the guest. They know they are loved and are special to your heart. Its not to be kept in the cabinet. Use them with pleasure. They are so sturdy and beautiful.

I ordered two sets of Mikasa's Summer Grove pattern and love my sets. They are typical Mikasa quality both durable and usable. I love the design and the colors and it coordinates well with other plain colored plates to make a stunning table setting. Excellent value and quality.

I had spent several months looking for just the right pattern to match my fruit theme in my newly remodeled kitchen with no results. Then I was shopping on the net and just happened to see the "Summer Grove Mikasa" and the fruit pattern seemed to be just what I needed. I immediately ordered a 20 pc setting and received that in just a few days and once I opened it, I was delighted to see that it was perfect. I went straight down stairs to my computer and ordered another 20 pc setting. I just love the design! It matches beautifully! Thanks so much - Mikasa.

I chose this set over just over five years ago, when registering for my wedding. I don't use it often enough, but when I do, I congratulate myself for chosing a pattern that I still love. It's classy. It's sturdy. It's definately not boring, like the single gold/silver ring around the dish that was popular at the time. I'm glad to see it at Amazon.com. I hope others make the same great choice I did.

I've had this pattern for over 10 years. It has been used every day for every meal. In all that use, I've chipped one small plate and one large plate. It goes with everything. I've changed table cloths, napkins, candle holders - you name it, it's changed over 10 years. I own all the accessory pieces, too, and still want more. I'm on my second husband, but my first Arabella!

These Mikasa spoons go perfectly with your demitasse or espresso cups. Very delicate with nice finish. We enjoy them every time we use them.

There's not much to say about this item. They're just spoons--but very pretty, dainty espresso spoons. I've enjoyed using them.

Great flatware-- nice, heavy feel! We have had for 5 years and still looks brand new; just watch for those who like to twirl spaghetti on their spoon, the tines scratch the finish.

I received a full set of Mikasa Dune flatware with the serving pieces for Christmas 2000. They have held up wonderfully over the last year with very few scratches and no discoloration, even with heavy use. The pieces are weighty enough to feel comfortable in anyone's hand, but not so heavy as to be uncomfortable. I only wish I could use this year's amazon.com gift certificate to buy more Dune pieces.

Tired of traditional all white dishes? This set hit the mark for me. Basic white with a modern "arty" Miro/Calder pattern that is unique yet not overpowering. My husband loves the look.

High quality, light weight and uniquely interesting pattern. Adds fun to the dining experience and cleans up like a dream in the dishwasher. Arrived in absolutely perfect condition and was packaged exceptionally well.

These days most people choose an elegant open-stock stainless steel flatware pattern for both their formal and casual placesettings. This Mikasa Italian Countryside pattern is an enduring classic that matches the Mikasa white stoneware line with the same name, but it also goes well with BIA white porcelain placesettings. This five-piece placesetting includes salad fork, dinner fork, place knife, teaspoon, and soup spoon. The salad fork and teaspoon can do double duty as dessert fork and dessert spoon. I've had this for almost 13 years, and it still looks as new as the day I took it out of the box! Useful in both the conventional and microwave ovens. I always need more than just one. It's a classic pattern, goes with everything from plastic to silver, and is very durable. I received most of my Mikasa as wedding gifts. I've long since dumped that husband, but I kept the Arabella!

This set is wonderful- the design is playful, but sophisticated at the same time. I had a hard time finding beautiful china that isn't overwhelming-The colors are pretty mute, so you can use a number of colors with it, for your linens. I have been using lavender or silver table linens with this- and it looks great with the pattern.
ALSO- this line is extremely durable. You can really bang it around & it does not chip (which is always a plus!!!)
