I got this set for Christmas (since it was on my amazon wish list). I absolutely adore it! The colors are so beautiful, looks just like it does in the pics, if not better. :) Also, I have used them a lot since I got them and put them in the dishwasher. So far the color is still perfect and no chips/breaks. I got all of the accesories to go with it, and as a set it is great!

I have a complete set of dinnerware for 12. I am currently getting the completer items. The pieces are much prettier in person. The art work is more detailed and graceful. It is colorful but not over powering on a table. I have not bought any of the glassware yet and am not sure I will.

I have used the same dish ware for the last 15 years and haven't really been looking for anything new. Then I saw this collection and I just had to have it. I started with just a few pieces and in just under 3 weeks I have most of the set for 4 and will soon take the it to 12 settings. These pieces are so whimisical and the colors are so rich and vibrant and what makes this even more special is the story that goes with these pieces. No matter how you dress your table these can go from everyday casual to dressy with just a few accessories. Great pieces, buy'em all......

I had been looking for a dinnerware that I could call my own for about a year now. I started out with two big boxes of dishes that my mom gave me when I first got married 14 years ago that I just never did like (sorry mom!). They were hardy and practical, but just not "me". Then, last year I bought a set of cheap dishes from [a local store] (I call these my inbetween dishes--everyone has to have those!) that were sort of cute, but chipped and turned burning hot in the microwave despite being labeled "microwave safe". I was feeling discouraged, but realized I just needed to find dishes that were not only sturdy but also had that special something that made me pleased with them.

At first was going to play it safe and get all white dinnerware--it would never go out of style I figured. But in the end I realized that all white just is not me. Then one day I was browsing online and saw the Pistoulet line of dinnerware from Pfaltzgraff and fell in love. The are truly sweet and charming, yet hardy and practical. I love the weight and size of the plates--big, but not too giant like many "funky" plates are made today. The salad plates are such a lovely golden color, and the little vine with berries that encircles them is enchanting. The little sunflower bowls will brighten any morning as you have your cereal, or cheer you up if you are sick and need some chicken soup. The substantial salad bowl with matching spoon and fork set are a gorgeous golden red color with the most beatiful little cherries on them. I also love the coffee/tea mugs--they are a perfect size (again, not too big or too small) and fit perfectly into your hand. All the peices have a very nice high gloss finish which I find more contemporary than some of Pfaltzgraff's older collections.

I also bought the incredibly charming serving platter with the house painted on it--it looks like it is "Madeline's school" from the Madeline series for kids. The little bread plates with the animals on them are great for snacks for kids. My children love the dinnerware just as much as I do, and like any mom--that makes me happy! These dishes will brighten your home...while you feed your body you will also be feeding your soul.

I first noticed these dish sets on clearance on the Marshall Fields website and snatched up what they had left. I didn't think I'd ever find the coordinating "extras" like the S+P shakers, glasses, serving bowls, etc...until I casually typed in the name on Amazon.com. What a find!! These dishes are beautiful, well-proportioned, and well-constructed. I'm already stocking up on them just to make sure I'll have plenty for years to come.

The mosaic patern is textured. Each item fells heavy and looks beautiful. This set will impress you and your guests.

This is a great set of dishes! The pieces have a good weight to them. The plates are large and I was impressed by the nice larger size cups (16 oz) for coffee. I had been searching for a
quality dinnerware set in shades of blue and this is definitely it! I love the pattern. You can go casual with it or dress it up for special occasions. You can use your lighter shades of blue glassware with it or color co-ordinate it with your cobalt blues. You'll love it!

I got this set because I had needed an entirely new set of matching dishes. I got this set, and most of the accessories that go along with it. I LOVE IT! The colors are fantastic, they blend perfectly. The pieces are unique, and the bowls and mugs are good sized! They are also really sturdy - I have used them dozens of times and they go in the dishwasher with no problem. Would recommend Pfalzgraff to anyone!

Although the patterns in this place setting are different, they couldn't look any better together! The colors blend splendidly and looking at the three pieces together make me smile. Thank you Pfaltzgraff...it's just what I was looking for.

I gave these (along with other "fortune cookie" pieces) as a housewarming gift to a young, fun, athletic, and artistic couple who had just purchased their first home. Although I knew they would appreciate any gift (it's the thought that counts), I was hoping to find one that would fit their taste and their needs. Not only were they thankful and appreciative, they exclaimed them to be a "perfect" choice. Their cupboards were emptied, and these became the dishes for everyday, as well as for entertaining. The lettering ("use your noodle") is soft and muted. The shape, with the rim and the 'circle', makes them easy to hold. The lines are contemporary, while the overall look is classic and elegant. The bowls are large, but not overwhelming. They can hold a little, for those watching their waistlines, or a lot, for those who are younger and more active. The couple also enjoys using these pasta bowls as salad bowls when they have large, specialty salads as their lunch or dinner. I have been to their home for dinner, and am so pleased with these dishes that I'm trying to think of an excuse to buy some for myself! Wonderful quality, form, and function, for a great price.

These bowls are wonderful! I have wanted a really nice set of pasta bowls for a long time and I finally got them with these. They are plain, but the "use your noodle" gives them the extra pazazz. I strongly recommend buying them.

The raised circle is a perfect place to hold them as you wash them so they don't slip from your hands, the snappy little messages would brighten any day, and they are weighty enough to inspire confidence in even the clumsiest of souls such as myself. The glaze on each and every piece seems stout, flawless and pristine, and the understated yet verbally colorful design is a perfect complement to your gourmet presentations. I would recommend this set to any young or young-at-heart person wanting a cheery, dependable set of everyday dishes, especially the recent school grad needing a starter set that will last without the costly financial investment.

I am very pleased with their size, weight and design. They are wonderful for cereal, pasta, soup - just about anything. They don't have an annoying rim and are deep, heavy, thick and very well made. I highly recommend these bowls for anyone that doesn't like their food spilling out the sides of their dish.

I love the size, weight, design, functionality of this bowl. Looks great on the table, and cleans and stores easily. A great serving piece for vegetables, side dishes, fruit.

I recently ordered 2 of these bowls through Amazon.com, and they arrived in perfect condition. I absolutely love them! The scalloped edges are simple, yet elegant, and are a wonderful compliment to the Filigree dishes.

In the last few months I have purchased the whole line of Pfaltzgraff Filigree dishes. Ilove this bowl as much as the whole line. It is very simple and practical, yet quite pretty. It is very sturdy and holds quite a bit. I purchased these dishes because I love to change colors in the kitchen and with this simple design you can really dress it up or play it down, depending on your placemats, napkins, silverware and table cloth. When purchasing through Amazon.com you can get a great price too.

What can I say? Practical, functional, and nice to look at.

I just purchase a new home and wanted new drinkware, I saw these glasses at Amazon and was delighted. I purchase them because I was tired of the plain clear drinkware. I wanted to put some color and design into my drink. When they arrive (earlier than expected) I was so amazed they are so nice, and the color is so bright. They are heavy and seem to take a liking and keep on ticking. One suggestion wash by hand! They are the perfect glass for guest.

SO FAR I HAVE COLLECTED TWO OF THE DINNERWARE AND TWO SETS OF THE GLASSES AND THE FLATWARE AND I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY MERCHANDISE. AND WHEN I SAW THEM ON DISPLAY AT FORTUNOFF AS A DECORTIVE FOR LINEN. I KNEW THAT I HAD A VERY SPECIAL SET OF FINE STONE CHINA

I received two of the bowls FREE with my purchase of two 16 piece Naturewood sets from Amazon (I really like free stuff and isn't Amazon great?). My wife was extremely pleased, as am I with these bowls. They are large enough for salads or almost anything else that you would want to serve up. They look fabulous with the dinner and salad plates. No Naturewood set is complete without at least one on the table.

Absolutely lovely and country charming with the added wonderful factor of "from oven/microwave to table!" Very pleasing.

We've had this set for 3 years and they are still beautiful & in their original shapes, even after scooping ice cream! ha-ha. They are strong, a good weight to them and look very classy, with everyday or semi-formal dishes. The satin finish handles are unique as well.

I recently purchased this set. My home decor is country so it blends nicely. After 25 years of mixed pieces this set was a real treat. My husband likes the solid feel. I love the pewter like look and feel. This set can have a formal or an informal look to it depending on your dishes.
All our friends are commenting on how beautiful it is and want to know the brand and pattern. I love it and would recommend it to anyone!

I had been looking everywhere for flatware that didn't look like what everyone else has. When I saw Pfaltzgraff Satin Providence, I knew this was the set for my boyfriend and me. He is an architect (= VERY PICKY!) and I knew even he would love it. I had looked at so many different patterns that they all started to look alike. If you have been looking for a while, then you probably know what I mean. When I came across this set, it really stood out. I had purchased Pfaltzgraff dinnerware and was pleased with the quality, so I didn't hesitate to buy their flatware.

The last set of flatware I owned bent into some bizarre shapes after washing and using the pieces for a couple of years. I don't have to worry about that with the Pfaltzgraff set-it is incredibly sturdy. The design, with the satin finish on the inlaid part of the handle complements the shiny silver beautifully. It gives it a really unique look, and is not your typical looking stainless flatware. I think that is the best part of the design, but I also like the ridged pattern that is at the top of each handle, and the beveled ends. What's also nice is that it's perfect for everyday use, but it's also elegant enough to use for a dinner party. The hostess set that comes with the 45-piece set is also fantastic looking. It would make a beautiful housewarming or wedding gift if you can bear to give it away!
