I bought these off of my sister who sells tupperware, they're great for a lot of things. My 3 year old nephew loves them because you can fill the cup without the worry of whether the contents will be spilt. They're also great for taking in the car because as you're driving you don't have to worry about opening a bottle or taking your eyes off the road because the hole allows for a straw. Overall I would recomend these cups to everyone.

I'm a 30 year old diplomat and I spill all the time when I drink from a glass. I don't know why it happens but my mom thinks its the reason I'm not married. Its pretty embarrassing on the diplomatic circuit when you are pouring half your gin and tonic on your neck tie. Imagine what those other diplomats must think about Americans. Well I was so upset about all of this I almost gave up hope...then these cups came along. Wow. The little hole allows me to drink like a pro and not spill a drop. Now I'm a hit at all the parties. I like the purple one the best... ...

When our daughters started to get tsk-tsk-tsk from their dentist, it was time to ditch the juice boxes for lunches. But what, to replace it with? Bottled water at 50 cents a pop? Sippy cups to make them feel 3-years old again?

These Tupperware cups are great for school lunches and in the car. They are big, and won't easily fit in a metal lunch box. Instead, we found soft-sided lunch bags which nicely fit a lunch plus the Tupperware cups (Hello Kitty brand, with a built-in thermos we quickly ditched).

Day one, the girls thought they were being downgraded to sippy cups, but with a cool straw everyday they now like and enjoy their water cups.

Highly recommended for elementary school kids. A bit expensive, but worth it.

My husband bought this for me once I bought a spinning bike...and he rarely buys me anything. But this was wonderful. No more aftertaste from reusing plastic bottles plus the drink stays cold after many hours. Whenever we take a trip I am always sure to bring this along. Even after staying in a warm car for over 3 hours the drink, is still cool. Great product!

This Nissan insulated sports bottle is all that it is billed up to be for keeping your beverage cold for an afternoon or more. The thermos is almost unbreakable, a five year warranty, and has a ridged black rubber plastic for a sure grip. The smooth interior needs to be hand washed with sponge or cloth with mild detergent.

If taken the bottle on bike hikes, canoe trips and camping, and it always serves up a nice cold refreshing drink. The top remains securely attached until ready for use. The only thing I would like to change about the bottle, is to make it larger, say about a liter (25 ounces) or a quart (32 ounces) rather than the 18 ounce.

This bottle goes on every outdoor outing, either by bike, canoe or foot, it is easy to carry/pack and does what it is suppose to do, keep the water cold without spilling or breaking.

I purchased this item for my six year old to use in the car. It is easy to hold, easy to open and fits in the cup holder of her car seat. I filled it with chocolate milk along with two ice cubes for good measure, and we left for the day. She drank about half of it. This was Wednesday. I forgot it in the car until I wanted to use it again; it is now Saturday. I was afraid to open it, and wondered if I would ever get it clean. The milk was still ice cold, it poured out like it had just been filled. It was nothing short of a minor miracle. That bottle was in a black car, in the sun for three days and the contents was cold. I was so happy with this purchase that I bought the bottle for carbonated beverages and the coffee/tea/travel bottle.
These are the BEST, my collection of travel mugs, and I have so many are all going in the garbage. These products will pay for themselves...no more waste.

This thermos is fantastic. I used to use it to take coffee to work in the morning, and if I forgot to clean it out that night, it was STILL WARM the next morning. That's 24 hours of thermal insulation.

Of course, it works just as well for cold. Iced tea, ice water, stays icy cold. Be careful not to put too much ice in, because it won't melt anytime soon, and you'll wind up having only ice with not much to drink.

The only drawbacks are size and weight. Its perfect for a road trip, trip to beach etc, but not something you'll want to be lugging around with you while hiking or anything. With this in consideration, you won't be disappointed with its performance. Highly recommended!

I just recently bought the 1 quart Nissan, and I feel in love with it immediately! First of all, there is no glass in it at all, so no need to worry about it breaking!(it happened to me once) The true test for me came when the coffee machine in my office broke down, I brought coffee from home and it was still burning my tongue many hours after I had first poured me a cup of joe! I highly recommend this thermos. Quite possibly the best thermos ever created!

We received this Nissan bottle as a wedding gift seven years ago and we first thought, okay... But we've used this thing EVERYWHERE. Hot stuff stays hot forever, and cold stuff, well, we'd go snorkeling down in the Florida Keys in July and this thing would sit on the hot sand hour after hour, and we'd finally get out of the ocean, sit down, open this thing up and it was SHOCKING how cold the water from it was. It's worth the money, and I'm actually buying it tonight as a wedding gift for some friends!

I have owned this thermos for a year, and I rely on it. It is an integral part of my daily routine. I warm it up in the morning with boiling water, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, then fill it up with coffee. Six hours later, the coffee is still hotter than most restaurants serve.

When I accidently destroyed the thermos (through owner stupidity, not product quality - this is NOT a wimpy product) I immediately bought an identical one.

This IS the thermos you are looking for. Buy it, you will not be sorry.

This insulated bottle is the perfect item for buisy people who enjoy their own hot or cold beverage in a moments notice. It keeps coffie piping hot and cold drinks refrigorator cold for many hours. This bottle is the perfect size either to carry along with the shoulder strap or to fit it in your brief case. This is a great thermos and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a gift or to someone that size is a consideration. Over all this is a GREAT Product.

...this is the perfect flask. Small enough to drop into a b-case or carry bag, this bottle is just right and made to last. I bought Nissan's stainless-steel, insulated French Press for making coffee on camping trips and overnights in hotels that lacked decent coffee services. I was so impressed by its design and construction that I jumped at the commuter's bottle here. Glad I did!

When I purchased this item, I was skeptical of the results. I've had others that leaked (even though they were leak proof), others that didn't keep my coffee/tea hot for more than 20 minutes, and still others that just weren't big enough to quench my coffee thirst or wake me up. I realized that I needed something new, I needed a larger travel mug that was actually leak proof and kept my drinks hot. I finally found it. The briefcase bottle is large enough to give me hot coffee for the entire 1 hour trip into work. Its refreshing to see steam come out of the top of the lid when I open it up (not like the other poor saps who have luke warm coffee on the train).

Nissan has not only created the better travel mug, but created a lifelong owner of its product.

This little insulator is the best cooler for soda I have ever used. It is perfect for at home or in your car or our in the woods. It is good anywhere. It keeps soda cooler than the warrenty even says. I bought my wife and I one each, since then I have been back and bought my mom one, and one extra for my wife at work.. Now I have decided to go back to target and get 2 more in case I cannot get them anymore. I hope these little coolers will always available.. My wife and I are contemplating buy at least 6 more for our guest when we have company at our house! Thanks for carring this wondeful product!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are so cool and easy to handle and make enjoying your favorite wine just more fun! Plus they take up less cupboard space!!! A great gift for your favorite wine lover...

These are amazing! Exactly the same as the Vinum line, minus the stems. The bowl is identical so you still get the breathing and flavor distinction you've come to expect from Riedel. They're just a bit more casual - perfect for a picnic or going out on your porch or patio to enjoy wine with friends or sitting around a fireplace. No worries about the stem breaking or finding a perfectly level place to set them down as they're like weebles - they'll wobble, but don't fall down. At about half the cost - if you like Riedel Vinum, you'll quickly be building your collection of the O line. One note, if you're a fanatic about the wine temperature, you may want to stick with the reds as you ARE holding the bowl while drinking, but I've not yet had that issue. What a great concept!

I have a busy schedule, so I have found myself running out of the house with my coffee in an insulated mug - keeping it in hand as I make my way to the subway, since it doesn't have a sealed lid. After about a month of this charade, I decided to buy a thermos - a coworker had given a stellar recommendation to purchase a Thermos Nissan. I don't regret it one bit. I bought the 750ml model, and it fits upright in my messenger bag - but I have also had it completely horizontal in the bag without any worries about leakage. And the coffee is piping hot! Just make sure to prep the thermos with boiling water before you put the coffee in, and you're good to go all day. This is the best thermos on the market - bar none - except maybe for their Titanium model - but that's like [$$]! Unless you're some sort of uber yuppie, stick with the stainless model and use the extra [$$]towards detailing your Volvo!

When I bought this bottle I had pretty high expectations because of previously owning a similar one, and having been issued a much larger one of the same type from the Army. The Nissan Travel Companion met my expectations completely. It will keep coffee hot for 48 hours if you need it to and are leaving it full for that time. The time degrades from that to about 8 hours if you are drinking the contents. If you fill the bottle with hot water, let it sit for a few minutes, to heat up the inside of the bottle, and then fill it with your coffee, it will stay hot for as long as you leave it full and unopened. Sounds silly, but try it.

Most days, I actually want to drink some of my coffee before the day has passed and the thermos works well for that too. I make a pot (7 cups will fit) in the morning, rinse the bottle out with very hot water, and I drink my coffee throughout the day. It is very hot for most of the day, into the evening. If a cup or two remain at the end of the day, they will not stay hot into the next morning. It only works for more then a day, if you leave it completely full, and don't open it until you want to drink it.

The bottle is well made. I've had it for almost 6 months now and use it every day. I even use it on weekends so I can turn my coffee pot off. It keeps the coffee fresher and just as hot as leaving it on the heating burner.

I only recommend this thermos (or any stainless steel bottle) for black coffee, tea, or hot water. Add your cream and sugar or whatever afterwords. Vacuum bottles are not dishwasher safe and it is dangerous to put food stuffs in it because you won't be able to get it completely clean. Coffee and tea can be rinsed out without a problem.

Summary. Keeps fluids hot for up to 8 hours of normal use. Up to 48 hours of full quantity storage. Very durable and drip proof. Not dishwasher safe, and should not be used with soup, cream, milk, or sugar.

Conclusion. Is day old coffee still "day old" if it is still piping hot?

I bought the Nissan travel companion based on the reviews on Amazon and have no regrets whatsoever. I have been delighted with it. My friends were amazed when I told them that the steaming-hot coffee I was pouring in the late afternoon had gone in at 6 a.m. The stainless steel construction seems sturdy and gives the bottle a classy look. Plus, how often are you going to purchase a bottle that says has pouring instructions in Japanese on the stopper?

I a bought this for work to carry coffee. At the end of the day coworkers complain it's too hot to drink. [the donut shop] has ruined my tongue so it's perfect for me.

Just remember it's bigger than it may appear. I holds 1.69 quarts, or 9, 6oz mugs, or 3.5, 15oz mugs just a tad above a personal thermos.

Just got mine and I have been using it for a couple of weeks. I wanted to give it a good test before writing this review.

I have used mine to carry hot tea to work at 8AM, by 5PM the tea is still hot, this far exceeded what I was demanding for in this type of bottle. I have also used it to carry cold beverages like fruit juices and it does keep them cold for several hours.

One observation: the instructions point out that the bottle might be "damaged" if you clean it in a dishwasher, I thought: "how can this be when it is designed to hold liquids at over 100 degrees F?" so I gave it a try and no problems! The only thing that I hand-wash is the rubber gasket from the main lid and a small plastic cover that fits on top.

I highly recommend it.

I, being one person, am often unable to consume an entire pot of coffee. This thermos, however, allows me to brew a full pot of coffee *AND KEEP IT ON MY DESK FOR TWO DAYS* -- it remains steaming hot. Furthermore, I have found that after the coffee is no longer hot, it goes well with kahlua, ice, and cream. -grin-

The thermos itself is larger than the picture really lets on. It's big-ish, about a third the size of the briefcase I carry to work. It does come with a shoulder strap however, and i can comfortably carry it under my arm with the briefcase on the same shoulder.

I haven't tried using it for soup or the other things the manufacturer suggests. It is simply fabulous for coffee however.
