I don't know if this product makes my hands any cleaner, but it occupies a nice neat space by my sink. The smell of the soap is quite pleasant - what I would describe as neutral. I was attracted to this because it has the soap and lotion in one handy basket. A little expensive but I think worth the money.

I bought this soap and lotion for myself, and I have since stocked up on the large refill set, I love it so much! The soap is not drying at all, and has a lovely, clean scent that is great for kitchen use. It is not overpowering, but it cleans away strong odors (fish, garlic) pretty well. The lotion is light but very effective. It doesn't stay on your hands and make them feel greasy, but keeps them feeling moisturized. I'm getting this for my mom, I know she will love it!

Forget those bars of soap slipping and sliding all over your sink. Don't give a thought to scrounging in a cluttered drawer for that sample bottle of hand lotion. Crabtree & Evelyn's Cook's Handcare duo is both practical and a pretty decoration for kitchen counter or sill.

Housed in a sturdy wire 3 ½" by 6" caddy that can either be refilled or reused (think napkins) are boons for cooks both female and male. There's a generous 500 ml bottle of handwash gel that lathers into a rich antibacterial potion to cleanse and neutralize food odors. Plus, a dairy rich fortified hand lotion that soothes and smoothes the skin. Both smell divine!

We made stew the other day, and after chopping countless carrots, potatoes and onions the handwash and lotion were marvelous. Since we're a two-chef family both of us enjoyed our Cook's Handcare.

I have no clue how this compares to other products of its type, but this product functions just fine. It is a no brainer purchase, especially if you notice that you have started growing pesky hair in unfriendly places :o)

Well, I will do my best. It works as advertised: cuts hair quickly and cleanly without pain or discomfort. Easy to clean and store. The switch is responsive and easy to use, with a very tactile "slide" that makes it easy to firmly place in either the "on" or "off" position.

The only demerit I can think of is that, when gripped firmly, you can feel a slight "creaking" to the plastic housing. No specific reason to think that it is a defect in this sort of small and inexpensive appliance, but I am accustomed to considering that a demerit in higher-priced electronic gadgets (cell phones, PDAs, pagers), so perhaps it bears brief mention here.

I will also point out that unless I am very much mistaken, this trimmer has been selected by several well-known retailers of gadgets as their "best of category" item. Hence, I apparently am not the only one who has had a good experience with this trimmer.

This is the best nose and ear hair trimmer I have ever owned. It weeds out my nose hair is no time and doesn't pull or "yank" at them, but instead cuts them cleanly for a clean smooth inner nostril. Works great on ear hair too! Easy to clean and the blades stay sharp. A great buy!

this is a top of the line home scale!!

This scale has been wonderful. So many scales when you get off and then immediately reweigh you get a different result. This scale is repeatable! The Body Fat results are very helpful but make sure you weigh at consistent times as I have seen my BF % vary up to 5% throughout the course of the day which I entirely believe as I drink a ton of water!

The display is easy to read and the results are displayed for several seconds (10-15 or so) after you step off. The scale is small and unobtrusive. The manual even includes some helpful information on body fat percentages.

This was an excellent buy even if it is more expensive than a standard scale. Oh, and the batteries are included!

The fact that Tanita is the Pioneer of bringing Body Fat Monitors to the world got me interested. The features this product has, Athlete Mode for me, Adult Mode for my wife, and Child mode for the kids, as well as Memory for all 4 of us is a great benifit. In addition, I can see my previous weight and Body Fat % and compare the difference to the current measurment has been "inspirational" while dropping 15 lbs and 4% Body Fat.

This also has a Healthy Range indicator that is easy to read, and a feature called DCI ( Daily Caloric Intake ) which tells how many calories you should take in to maintain your current weight - reduce calorie intake - reduce weight !!

This is a high quality product - and with what you get in the way of features & benifits - Tanita should be charging more than they are for this product !

I also want to add that though I was initially not enthusiastic about using this massager, I discovered when I had jaw surgery two weeks ago (3 Feb 2004) this massage was one of the best ways to stimulate, relax and release blood flow from my neck and shoulders, where I usually store lots of tension.

This massager is curved just right and works like no other The new roller feature makes it even better than previous models. Portable, cordless - I take it from the office to the bedroom and use it from my neck to my toes.
It makes a great gift

It would be difficult to imagine how this product could be improved. Merely slip an inflatable cuff on the upper arm - press one button - and in a few moments receive a clear, easy to read blood pressure and pulse display. Accuracy seems good - read-outs tie in with those taken in doctors office. Quality of product initially appears fine - no reason to anticipate problems in the future. In brief - this product performs perfectly well with no hassle.

Many of us have to monitor our own blood pressures in between check-ups. This Panasonic EW 243 Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor works very well when the included directions are followed. After getting some error messages, I learned that I had to place the evenly tightened cuff about 1/2 inch above my elbow, with the cuff tubing along the middle of the inside of my arm. I take my blood pressure while seated, with my arm at about heart-level. I like the large digital read-out on the display panel, which gives both blood pressure and pulse measurements. Even when the cuff is deflated the read-out still shows, so I am able to record the results. Highly recommended.

The biggest complaint I hear from people about electric tootbrushes is that the replacement heads are too expensive. Come now, that was the type of thinking that would have killed the Industrial Revolution!

For anyone who really cares about dental hygeine or even just the way they look to other people, you can't not use an electric toothbrush anymore. I laughed at the idea at first, but once I began using one I will never be able to use a regular toothbrush again without feeling like my mouth isn't clean. When you go to the dentist--what type of toothbrush does he/she use on you? Electric--for a reason, because it cleans better.

The marginally higher cost of replacing the heads rather than buying an entirely new disposable toothbrush is insignificant when you actually feel as clean as you can when you use an electric brush. Personal dental care has evolved to the next step, and you don't want to be caught be the last person using a slide ruler because you were too frugal to purchase the more expensive but more effective calculator.

Your teeth (and anyone who comes in contact with them) will thank you.

I used to laugh at friends who told me about their electric toothbrushes, figuring they were just lazy to use regular ones. My 3 year old daughter received one at Christmas and she loved it from the first try. We were worried that she might be afraid of the motor, or that it moved by itself. But she just couldn't get enough. She would ask several times a day to brush her teeth! Our son is only twenty months, but we're ordering one for him now. He'll only use it with our hands on it as well, but our daughter has no trouble using it by herself. There haven't been any issues with quality of the brush. We've left it off the charger for a full day and the battery has held the charge just fine. I never thought I'd be a fan of electrical toothbrushes (especially one plastered with Disney logos), but I've been convinced. My only concern is the cost of replacement heads -- $7.99. But if it gets them excited about brushing at an early age (they were good brushers to begin with) and does a more thorough job, I'll break down and buy in.

Unlike any other digital scale I have ever tried (maybe five or six) this scale is consistent. I step on, get my weight, step off, then step back on and I get the same weight to the nearest two-tenths of a pound. I personally don't like the color, but that is personal and doesn't affect the quality of the scale.

It is truly a great gift for your senior friends.
