be wary...
I am a proffessional hair wrapper, among other things, and I would be wary of this product. I have seem many people who have tried to use this product at home, and many have come to me to get their hair wrapped properly. This product, while very cost effective (compared to approx. $15-30 for each professional wrap), they are hard to use and often create uneven, messy wraps which do not look the same as the real thing. I have heard stories about people's hair getting caught in the device. I do not wish to bash this product, I just want people to beware that they do indeed get what they pay for and there is definitely a learning curve to be able to make good looking wraps with this product--dont' expect perfect results the first few times you use it.

Great Product
Last year I received this item as a gift. I have had a few of these wraps professionally done. They costed about twenty dollars each. This holds the wraps tight as long as you get a good knot at the bottom. It takes a lot of practice to get them to come out evenly. Definetly a fun product. You can buy some colored thread and use it match your outfit!! Totally cute!!

It ROCKS!
The Conair Quick Wrap is a great Hair tool! I wraps very easily! I also think that the beads are really cool and that the colors of string are neat! I have a suggestion after you wrap some of your hair then you can take a pen or pencil and wrap the just wrapped hair around that and then take the pencil out and you have spiral hair wrap! GET THIS ITEM!

Too picky
While the thing works, it's very particular about placement of the cuff--get it too high or too low or turn it a little too far in either direction and it doesn't get a reading. This morning I had to adjust the cuff position 3 times before it finally gave me a reading--by that time any reading it gave on that arm would be questionable anyway--it's more hassle than a device using a manual stethoscope would be. I'm looking for a replacement that works better.

OTOH, its durable--I've had it for three years now and it still works as well (or poorly) as it ever did.

Dependable
This is the only monitor that I have owned that lasted more thatn five years. Unfortunately, I now need another. I switched to a more expensive brand that was worthless, because it wouldn't give any kind of reading you could believe. I'm buying another Lumiscope.

Easy To Use
I found the Lumiscope 1085M easy to use and pretty accurate. It was only 1 or 2 digits off of the readings I received at my doctors office. The directions were easy to follow, and it has a long battery life. I would reccomend it to others.

THIS RAZOR SUCKS!
It gave me a razor burn sooooooooooooooo bad my girlfriend asked if Satan grabbed my face!

Excellent shave!
I have owned 2 Norelcos over the last 20 years (yes they last that long) and when my last one got tired I decided to replace it with a Remington Titanium 9170. Huge mistake! I returned it after 2 shaves and bought this razor and was hooked during the first use of it. The pivoting heads easily and snugly fit the contours of your face and it gave an excellent first shave that will only get better as the blades break in over the next few weeks. The color is a bit odd and it seemed to take the hand of god to get the trimmer open but those are my only complaints. Rotary razors don't work for every type of beard but they work well for me and this is the best I have ever owned. Norelco forever!

THIS HAS THE CUTTING EDGE!!
Though this is one of the models in the "lower" groups of Norelco's offerings, it has more than enough bells and whistles. I really can't see why anyone would need more. My first shave with this razor ended with the best shave I have ever had in my life. Just read on and follow all the suggested steps.

Norelco instructs us that all razors of this model should be fully charged for 4 hours before the first shave. I believe that all of Norelco's razors are given if not a full charge, a partial charge. The manual also explains about the LED lights that indicate the percentage of charged power available to the razor. When I plugged my razor in for charging, before using, it said 40% available and the 60% indicator was blinking (meaning not quite 60% full). Give the razor a full 4 hour charge, even if the LEDs say 100% in about 1 hour or so. Go the full 4 miles the first time around (remember, this razor has a quick charge function, so it may appear to be fully charged, it isn't, it's just your quick charge at work). I washed my face with plenty of soap and soaked my whiskers with a lot of water. Then I dried my face completely. Then, contrary to what Norelco says, I used a liquid preshave conditioner. Not a gel, not a powder (which should never be done with these razors), simply a liquid. Then I shaved - - - and it was the best shaving experience I have ever had.

The LED lights tell me everything I need to know - - 20%, 40%, on up to 100% power available. It starts blinking red at 20% power left. You can still shave; it's just letting you know that you need to charge it up. It does have the sideburn trimmer, which I have used and it performed wonderfully for me.

If this is the "lower" line, I don't know what you can do with the higher lines. I do not see any need for something beyond this razor. It has its cleaning brush for the razor heads, it has its charging cord, it has its neat little traveling pouch that holds the razor and all its accessories. What more do you need?

It feels comfortable and well balanced in my hand, it is very quiet, and it is a pleasant razor to look at. For the price, you cannot possibly go wrong.

Lovely to look at but not bright enough
This is a very attractive lighted mirror. Looks-wise, it's perfect. However, if you need a bright light to apply your makeup or for tweezing, it's not bright enough. The size of the mirror is terrific, but as I already own a non-lighted 3x magnification mirror, the Conair, which is supposed to be 3x is not as powerful as the one I already have. I really would have preferred 5x, but was willing to go with the one I ordered because of the look and the light. I was disappointed with it.

Telescopic neck ...key feature!
The telescopic neck was its key selling feature for me. The Conair Deluxe Lighted Makeup Mirror offers the ability to adjust to various heights. After all, not everyone is the same height or uses the same chair to sit in to apply their makeup. Ever have to crouch down to see in the mirror or stack books under the mirror to bring it up to your eye level? If you have, then you know what I mean. This makeup mirror provides adequate lighting and magnification along with a real bonus....the telescopic neck....adding comfort in application to its list of features.

Cool blue toothbrush!
This is one of three different brands and/or models of rotary toothbrushes I have recently purchased. ( Three kids = three different toothbrushes!) Reasons to like this one are that it is very portable, the cool blue color makes it easy to tell from other toothbrushes that may be in your bathroom, and it is fun. (Anything that encourages toothbrushing and is effective can't be bad, can it?) On the downside, I am having difficulty locating replacement heads for this brush. Supposedly, replacements are available, but where to find them is a very important question to ask yourself before you purchase the toothbrush.

Gold-star Winner
With a new battery, it has the power to clean and polish teeth without any discomfort. Keep it at the kitchen sink and find it handy to brush after meals. Also, I found a new use: to clean a crevice in my blender cover. It has no cords to plug in, so it is easy to store in a handy place, ready for use.

Not up to Crabtree's usual standards.
The Swiss Care line is a disappointment for me. While I did not purchase the set, I did purchase full-size products from this line. Big mistake. I've been using Crabtree's other lines for years (their rosewater body creme is a staple of mine and I _love_ their entire La Source line) and felt confident purchasing the Swiss Care line as a daily skin care regimen. Unfortunately ALL of the Swiss Care products I bought (cleansing milk, tonifier and deodorant) went into the trash, barely used. They're that bad.

The tonifier is probably the best of the lot, though the main ingredient is witch hazel - which can be disasterous for dry or sensitive skin. I wish they had made the ingredient list available before purchase so that those who do have sensitive skin could be warned.

The cleansing milk is harsh, there is just no other word for it. My skin tends to be rather oily in the T-Zone and this dried up my face to the point that it felt pinched and irritated. This might be suitable for use in a foot bath, but certainly not on the face!

Normally I recommend any and all Crabtree products, but sadly I'm afraid I have to add "except the Swiss Care stuff". It's just not up to their usual standards.

The only facial product I will use
I've been using the Tonifier and Emulsion for years and I love them both. The Tonifier removes any makeup residue and evens out my skin tone without drying my skin out. The emulsion is the perfect lotion to wear under makeup during the day, light but moisterizing.

Lasted pretty well, but left long goatee hairs untouched...
Overall, this lil thing lasted pretty well, and I used it daily for about 2-3 years. It never pulled hairs or left track marks with the guard off lining up sideburns and trimming around my goatee and mustache.

It did have one drawback though. While it was easy to use, and frequently zipped through sideburns and goatees with ease, it missed some hairs. With it set to trim hairs over 1/4 inch long, I had one grow to almost 2 inches long before I found it and used scissors to cut it.

Something went wrong with the battery, and it died recently. I am not sure if I will buy another or try my luck with another guard system on a fidderent trimmer.

A Decent Product
I purchased this trimmer to keep my goatee in line, and it does quite well. I've had no snags at all in 4 months of use. The longest trimming setting, #4, is a little shorter than I would have preferred, but hair does grow, after all. With the cover off, it does quite well as an edger, for lack of a better word. Trimming a moustache right under the nose is a little tricky, but can be pulled off if you are patient. All in all, a solid little product.

Paraffin Spas
This is a great product for those who like soft hands and enjoy spa-like relaxation.

Healing wax for hot paraffin spas
These paraffin spas are nice for sore, chapped hands. The lavender is especially healing. What I like about this wax is that it contains not just paraffin, but essential oils. After you dip your hands and let the wax harden, you peel it off, or you place your hands in plastic bags for the purpose, and warm them in electric mits. When the wax is peeled off, the oils stay on the hands and make them soft. Great for very chapped hands in winter or if you have joint pain. I love it.

Good attachments but not strong enough motor
I bought this really to clean my feet from hard callous and the motor just wasn't strong enough. Had to return it.

Quality Product...
I was very pleased with this kit. It was just what I was looking for. It includes all the attachments you need for a great manicure. I love that it is re-chargeable and so easy to use. I plan on purchasing several more to give as gifts!

Too complicated for a simple thing like this...
I bought this unit at local store about week ago, had to return it for the following reasons:

1) Very bad manual/instruction
2) Very inacurate timer setting
3) Requires purified water or distilled water
4) The cool mist isn't nearly as cool as we thought
5) Last but no least, it stopped working on my second try.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the only product on the market that has the warm/cool facial spa capability. Sigh, a good idea ruined by bad engineering.

A 15 minute vacation
I work at a nursing home for the elderly and travel my entire lunch break to take my kindergardener to daycare after school and then pick him up with my two year old to go home, and to know that I have this product at my beck and call. WOW!! I am a owner of this product for 6 months now and I all I can say is I love it.. So what is requires special water a gallon lasts me for two months so I don't mind spending $.75 every two months. I use it in conjunction with my pore cleanser from Panasonic and I now I use less make up than ever. I normally wear foundation, pressed powder and loose. Now it is just pressed powder. It allows my natural glow to come out and minimized my pores. I do my facial with a towel over my head to intensify the treatment along with a favorite cd and I am on a fifteen minute vacation without leaving home. I take the towel off and my pores are ready for the final stage. I turn on the cool mist and apply a moisturizer at the last minute and I am ready to face another day..

I love this
The warm mist has really helped clear up my acne-prone skin... I remove makeup, do 15 minutes of warm mist, cleanse, tone, mosturize, and cool mist to close the pores back up.

My skin hasn't looked this good since I stopped paying for professional facials - at a fraction of the price for just one professional treatment!

The instructions do suck though.
