Pretty colors don't gloss over poor performance
I bought these after my favorite Oster clippers finally broke. Previously, no one could believe I did my boys' hair myself, and I'm certainly no professional, but it always turned out even.
Although the colored attachments seemed like a great idea, and are indeed prettier than black, they don't seem to be as straight as my previous ones were. Perhaps that kind of plastic warps more easily? After switching to these Wahl clippers, people would ask if I cut my boys' hair myself, which was not exactly a compliment. I noticed that it was no longer even, and I'd find long hairs leftover even though I'd go over the same sections repeatedly in effort to eliminate that problem. Again, I'm not a professional, but one would think I'd be getting better with years of practice, not worse. I chalk it up to the poor performance of these Wahl clippers. I give them two stars only because they do have a nice set of scissors, carry bag, clips, comb, and some "extras" included.

Listen to a man who knows...
I've personally been using my Wahl clippers for 8 years. Before I found them in my house and began using them who knows how many times they had been used. I use them on my self at least once a month; and for a period of 5 years I have used them to cut most of my friends' hair. In short, the clippers were getting used weekly for a long, long time. I have numerous friends who have tried to buy clippers from other companies over the years, and ALL have not held up. Most of them switch over to Wahl after inquiring about mine. I have rarely, rarely as in 4 times, used the clipper oil, and have never cleaned them spotlessly. I write this due to the complete blasphemy that has been written about these clippers. These are the best clippers money can buy, and I will NEVER use anything but Wahl. Happy shopping...

i wouldn't take one of these for free at this point
in case my title doesn't give you a strong enough impression, let me explain:
i hate this product. i hate this company b/c of this product and b/c of a horrible hair buzzer i bought of theirs that yanked more hair out than it cut, but i'll stick to this product in this rant.
when i first bought it i loved the attachments. the eyebrow trimmer, the ear and nose hair clipper, etc, all great... while they worked. the main problems i had were:
1) the plastic beard length guide broke almost immediately. i didnt particularly care since i bought it more for the eyebrow and nose trimmer, and more to shape my beard than to trim it.
2) it got dull so fast i'm not even sure it was *ever* sharp.
3) it stopped charging after a couple weeks. it appears to me the contacts didnt connect btwn the shaver and the base so it wouldnt charge, but i couldnt figure out any way to make them connect, and i'm a pretty inventive guy.

in summary: garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage. if you really feel like giving this company money, just send them a check and save yourself the aggravation.

The best
For trimming those hard to reach areas, this item is probably the best I have ever used. It has a long battery life for those really overgrown areas. This puppy won't let you down. Hands down the best trimmer in the western hemisphere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terribly useful
Bought one of these recently and just love it. Works fabulously as a bikini line trimmer, since many of the other trimmers can be just too large for the job or have difficult cords to negotiate. This is just the right size - and it is multi-functional!

...Very Impressed with such a low-priced razor
I got this razor as a gift last Christmas. I knew the whole Norelco line pretty well, and when I got this I thought it was the 'Bottom Line Razor' However, I believe that this razor does such a good job, that if the price was 60, even 70 dollars, that people would pay it. It charges a Lot faster than the susposed 16 hours they say. It has the finominal tripple-blade cutting system, leaves no irration. It even comes with a cleaning brush, a convient travel case, a small and sleek charging unit, perfect for travel, and the most important part, the replacement razor units are very cheap (I've seen them under 8 dollars at WalMart) and their extremly easy to install. I think you will love this razor as much as I did, and If your looking into a Norelco-System, I think you should start your looking right here. Hope this helps.

Good deal, good razor
I like it, shaves close and comfortable. much better than my old cordless Norelco. I would recommend buying this one instead of new cutting heads for an older razor, a few dollors more but you would have a new razor.

Good for beginners....
If you are just starting to grow facial hair, and it is not coming in significant amounts, but you would still like to get rid of it, buy this shaver. It's not top of the line, but it does it's job. I would not recommend this to long-time shavers.

Need patience. Expect no miracles. BUT it works!
Like the others, I've been using Biore Pore strip. I needed a more economical solution and this is what I've found. For best results:

1. You will need to make this part of your routine and with patience your skin can get clearer after repeated use. Honestly, after one use I can feel my skin get smoother as the surface dirt are sucked away.
2. You will need to open up your pore before use. Apply a hot/warm face towel or water on your skin.

Personally, I think this is a little more effective than a nose strip. However, the cons to using this product:

1. Red marks will appear when left on one area for a time (especially true for those with sensitive skin).
2. After use, you will need to follow the cleaning instructions of the product. Unlike nose strips where you just toss the product in the trash. However, you will get used to this procedure and it isn't difficult to do. Panasonic has provided a cleaning tool, but I prefer to use cotton swabs and tissue as my cleaning aid.
3. The motor is noisy.

The unit is completely submersible so you can use this while in the shower. I like having a mirror while using the product (just like when shaving).

There are people who are lucky not to be plagued with evident blackheads on the nose. If nose strips don't work for you, this may produce similar lackluster results. However, to those who seem to need this product - have patience and you will see results.

This product DOES work
I'm writing this because I am really surprised by how many people are not happy with this product. It really is great! I would guess that those who were not happy with it weren't patient enough with it. You have to spend about an hour the first time you use it, trying the different motions on areas of your face and applying different amounts of pressure in order to find out what works best for you. I wet my face at the sink for a few minutes with warm water and use it, and it works fine, but it works best after/during taking a shower or a bath. This product totally beats boiling water and using a blemish extractor to get rid of your blackheads. And, it's cheaper than buying tons of those Biore strips and it works even better. I used the pore cleaner on my husband, and he even likes it! One more important note: It also says on the package that you need to use it for a month in order to really get all the blackheads clean. I'd say it took about 2 weeks on me. From what I have read in the other reviews, the folks who didn't like this product expected perfection in one use. You won't get it all taken care of in one use, but you will notice an improvement that just gets better with more use. Regarding skin type, this is obviously best on people with oily skin and combo skin (that's me). However, folks with dry skin could still use it and enjoy it as it gives the face a nice massage and toning. I hope this helps!

Better than anything else I've tried
I have had a constant battle with minor blackheads appearing on my nose, cheeks and chin for 15 years. I've tried the Biore strips, deep cleansing, etc. and nothing really seemed to make a long-term difference. I bought this product because, well, nothing else had worked so why not give something totally different a try? I'm so happy I took the chance. As other reviewers have noted, this product will not provide an immediate fix. But, used every few days over the course of time it will. I noticed a difference in about 2 weeks. I have now been using it for 4 months and my blackheads have been greatly reduced and are less noticable. I'd say I've seen about an 80% reduction. There are still a few, but they are much smaller and I still have hope that with continued use they too will be gone eventually. I also believe that if I stopped using it regularly my blackheads would come back. It's the constant deep-cleaning of the skin that makes this product work. However, it only takes a few minutes every other night and I think the results have been well worth the effort.

Read the product descriptions carefully
It's my own fault for not reading carefully enough, but I was disappointed with a couple of items. I expected to have everything at once: bubbles, heat, massage. It turns out that you can only have them separately.

1> the "infrared heater" is not even in the bath itself. See the palm-sized dark red thing on top of the unit, near the middle? That has some lights in it that eventually get warm. Its function, apparently, is to rest your heels on so they get warm. It is outside the water line, so you can't use this feature while having your feet in the water. I found this to be sort of lame.

2> if you look at the picture, you will see two gray circles at the top of the unit. Those are the massagers, as they spin. They are not in the bath unit, so you have to take your feet out of the bath to use them.

The whole unit vibrates, if you want it to. But this just gives you a numb feeling. Those blue squiggly tubes you see in the picture on the bottom of the foot bath.... they are stationary tubes with holes in it that release bubble if you want them to.

I guess I was mostly disappointed than anything, but I could have read more carefully. I just wanted to write something so someone else doesn't assume what I assumed, that you could get massage, bubbles, and heat at the same time. I guess you could have bubbles and vibration (but no massage) at the same time, and if you poured in hot water you could have heat too. But this is not the same as what I expected, which, again, was mostly my own fault.

update last review
I previously made a post stating the machine wouldn't shut off. That was for the fr-700. Someone else also had the same problem.

Does the job
I carefully read all of the reviews before I purchased this product, and I only disagree with one review. It is not loud. The bubbles and the massager do make noise - but less than a foot bath at a salon. If you turn on the spinners on top, there is additional noise, but I don't feel like it is an unreasonable amount. Additionally, it was a lot lighter than I expected even with water. When I first used the spinners, they tickled my feet and I thought they were too rough. However, after soaking for a little while, I found that I could use the spinners without experiencing extreme sensitivity. Basically, I like this product and have used it more than once. (A good sign.) I did not give it five stars, because a salon soak and pedicure is still a better experience.

Buzz those little hairs right off
Removes hair quickly and adequately. My biggest complaint is that I liked my old one that died better, but this does at least as good a job, and maybe better. It's a little loud. Won't wake the neighbors but anyone near the bathroom will hear it. Probably not a big deal for most people and not for me most of the time. Battery life is good and not having to mess with either a cord or charger unit in my small bathroom is a good thing. Overall, I'd say if the dogs ran off with it and buried it in the backyard, I'd probably replace it with the same thing so I'm happy enough. It's not my old one (not made for several years and I don't even remember what brand it was) but this does the job.

Obvious quality
I had been using another "lady shaver" from a well-
known company. The quality of this one is clearly much
better, considering the list prices were similar.
Seems to hold its charge for a long time.
So far seems like a great product.

Remington WDF-3000 Women's Smooth & Silky Shaver
I just received it today and have already tried it. I just love this razor! It shaves so close and takes no time at all.
I recommend it very highly! You don't need to buy the WDF-5000.
This is good enough!!

Patience is a Virtue
Just got the conair hair remover and tried it. It worked well. With my sensitive skin and after having let my hair grow out a bit in anticipation of using the product I should have been more patient. I tried to remove every trace of hair from my armpits first. I Do Not recommend beginning with the armpit area. I am typing this with my elbows out. I put on a little emu oil, it's strarting to help the burning. I read in another review that it takes several attempts before you are completely smooth and I don't think they meant in one evening. Time must elapse, days, maybe longer. It will be worth it. Be careful around the ankles. Start slow. Don't be all gung ho and go nuts with the thing. You have to get a feel for it and learn what to do in different areas. I hope this helps.

PERFECT!
I have this conair for 2 weeks now.. it's more than great. I really don't understand why some poeple say it's painfull! because it is just the opposit. it's a miracle! No pain at all, not even a little. much more better than a razor since it exfoliates greatly so you forget about dry legs in winters. I used to moister my legs every day with lotion, but now, thank to the exfoliation, my legs look always clean, shiny and so smooth.
I use it no more than twice a week, yes the hair begins to grow right after one day but it grows soft and fine and not all over.. that is, the hair grows gradually, every day some of the hair grow wich is great because you wont need to use conair again until a week and even more, and you still can show your legs.
Here is a trick that worked perfectly for me.. before using conair for the first time, I hair removed with wax, so the growing hair was fine and thin, and then I used conair and the hair was so easily removed, that I haven't even seen any under-skin hair that usually appear after razor.
I don't recommend using anything other than wax or sugar for hands, but HIGHLY recommend it for legs.

LOVE IT !
This is the easiest hair removal system i have ever used and will continue using it . great great great

good while it lasted... which wasn't long
Initially I was so impressed with this product I bought a second one within a week, so I could have one at home and one at the gym. After 4 months, however, the first one refused to shut off. About 2 weeks after that, the other one burned out. I'm not willing to throw away money every few months on any product, so I won't be buying this, or anything else under the sassoon label again.

An incredible hair appliance!
I had a Jet Aire Hair Styling System for many years until it broke. I couldn't find anything to replace it until now. This product dries and styles my hair so fast! It has a lot more power than my old appliance. I also purchased another vidal sassoon ionic hot air system. It has the curling iron attachment that I loved with the Jet Aire. You may think "Why would I buy two products?" - let me tell you why. I searched Ebay for the Jet Aire and you know what? Every auction is closing at a higher price than what I paid for both Vidal Sassoon products! Plus, Jet Aire, only 350 watts - Vidal Sassoon products, 1000 watts of power! I hope I have helped convince you to buy this.

I Love It
I bought this dryer about a year ago. First time I used it I was in love. I told all of my friends about it - and they all went out and bought one. I couldn't wait for my next hair appointment so that my hair stylist could see how wonderful this product was. He was really impressed - told me I should go out and buy another - just to have on hand. I went to the store that I first purchased one and they were all out! I finally found the dryer again on-line and I am going to buy two!!! I am pretty rough on my blow dryers and this one I have dropped about a million times - my daughter also uses this dryer every day. I have never had any problems with it - I urge everyone to get this dryer - you will love it so much that you won't want anything else to EVER be used on your hair again!!!

very lamn, buy the dr. scholls
took it back for the dr. scholl's version. which is 10 times better. conairs heating didn't work good at all and its jets were weak. everything was weak about it. the dr. scholls version not only keeps the water warm, it will warm cooled water! it also has an infrared unit which isn't offered on the others. the jets are very powerful, as well. i was surprised. i honestly didn't expect that out of any of them. save your money on the conair. it is way over priced.

WEAK! Save your money
this things is not very good. i just bought it and took it back within hours. it doesn't heat the water, like others on the market, and it doesn't even keep it warm like it says. also the jets are very weak. i hate conair and only bought it cause the lady at the store said her daugher said it was the best one out there. i don't even know how they stay in business. everything they make is usually done half-assed. i went back and went with my first instinct, the dr. scholls version. that one rocks! not only does it actually heat cool water it also has an infrared unit on the front. the jets are very powerful and it has all the options of the other delux spa. trust me, there is a better deal out there!

Victoria
I've now had 2 Conair foot baths and both of them broke down on me and, therefore I'm looking for a reliable brand of foot bath. I loved the jets on this machine but the vibration element quit working and since you cannot actually reach the controls (you just press a bottom and the actual control is under the plastic housing meaning one cannot investigate the problem unless you take the whole machine apart)there is no way for me to fix it and not worth cost of a repair person. Plus, it would be nice if there was a heater so the water doesn't go cold. The loofas atop the machine are worthless. I will not buy another Conair product!

Please don't buy this!
I bought this trimmer two years ago. It's not that it doesn't work but it's just a pain in the neck. The on/off switch keeps falling off. Sometimes it just makes too much noise but hardly trims, and it consumes batteries too fast. I bought another "famous" brand name trimmer. I won't mention the name, so that you won't feel I'm trying to undermine this product by promoting another one. But please, don't buy this product, unless you like to have a bad nose hair day!

Effective, cost-efficient, (unintentionally) disposable
As a trimmer, the NE-3 functions beautifully: after a year of biweekly use I have never once felt the discomfort of an unpleasantly pulled hair. However, as a device the NE-3 is not particularly sturdy: after a year's use, and maybe most the life of the battery, the on-off switch ceased to function. For a while I could get it to run by pressing the on/off switch into the trimmer case, but now even that's stopped working.

If you're willing to pay $8 for a razor that will likely break after a year's use then this is an outstanding razor to get; if you want one that will last you, then--like me--begin to look elsewhere.

Very Accurate Trimming
I have owned 13 trimmers and this is by far the best trimmer on the market. Usually when I trim my nose or ears, the hair grows back after several days, but the NE-3 will last two weeks!Ergonomically speaking, it is especially well designed and light weight. I would prefer that it was available in designer colors, but don't let that stop you from buying it.
