Expensive Tweezer
I received the Emjoi4Men as a gift today. I followed the directions, and the product does NOT work as advertised. It is not painless, even when you hold the buttons for 3x the necessary time. The Emjoi4Men is just an expensive tweezer. Save your money!

waste of money
ditto to what the last guy said. it doesn't work, and it's a big waste of money.

Don't waste your time nor money
It just doesn't work. Period. The hair doesn't come easily at all. As far as I'm concerned, the unit operates the same with or without batteries. The radio frequency doesn't help. Even if you spend 2 minutes in each hair (recommended is 15 to 20 seconds), you basically have to pull it off just like a regular tweezer - and it is very painfull as you may guess.

Waste of money
I purchased this product about a year and a half ago and it was the worst thing I have ever purchased I believe I wasted at least $... in brushes, my family consists of 3 people so I had to buy 2 packs of replacement brushes.

First off, the brushes wear down in 2 weeks, noticeably so, I would brush my teeth, eat something and had to brush my teeth right away again. The manual says that they last 3 months. Thats a LIE, don't believe that for one moment. The brush is extremely slow.

The stand gets so dirty, you have to constantly clean it, but its very hard to clean.

I wouldn't waste my money on this you truly get what you pay for, splurge and get the Oral Braun 3D excel, that is worth every penny. I have that now, and the brushes last a long time I am actually saving money with this brush, GO FIGURE!

Cheep Imitation
This is not a product I would recommend. It runs out of power quickly and Takes a long time to recharge. It works is only positive thing I can say.

Good toothbrush, but not worth buying
The toothbrush itself is excellent. Solidly built, with pretty much perfect waterproofing of both the brush and the charging stand (it charges by electromagnetic induction, I'd guess). It has a good, solid feel, not chintzy or clumsy like a lot of the cheaper units. And it does the job well.

So why only two stars? Turns out Conair has discontinued it, and you can't get more brushheads by any means other than phone order direct through Conair. They waived shipping costs, so I stocked up, but there won't be many more to get.

So while I like this better than anything else I've seen out there, I wouldn't buy it again, and I wouldn't recommend you buy it either.

Total Waste of Money
I totally agree with a previous reviewer - it counts movements when there are none, continually, and keeps resetting the total, over and over. I bought this one for the safety cord because I kept dropping the Sportline 360 which I love otherwise but I have broken (3) and lost (1).

Needless to say, the cord is useless because I no longer bother to use it at all. A huge disappointment.

Batteries not easy to find...
This pedometer requires 3 batteries to operate. It takes 2 LR43 batteries and 1-12 volt battery. It comes with the batteries initially, but the replacement batteries aren't easy to find. I had success at an 'all batteries' store.

Great buy
I gave this 4 stars just because it's my first pedometer so not a lot of experience with them - it had clear instructions which allowed me to set my stride length and weight to calculate distance and calories burned. It also allows you to set its sensitivity so that it only counts your walking steps. I found that it doesn't reset itself unless you press the reset button - if you find yourself doing that, switch it to the cal/distance settings - then only the timer (it has a start/stop timer feature!) is affected - distance, calories and steps aren't reset.

Broke before I even used it
Can't speak to the quality of the cutter on this because the thing broke in transit. Looks good in the photo, but I've never seen a cheaper product design/manufacture.

Terrible!
After years of using Wahls which work great but last about 2 years in our household with 3 different people using it I decided to try these because of the 5 year warranty and "better" blades. Terrible at cutting hair. Just plain bad. Returned it after 1 use. Extremely disappointed in it.

its not that bad. -read on-
read how to clean the thing and notice that the blade just needs to be well lubed Before u use it.

i didnt do that and the thing died right out of the box after cutting for 2 minutes..there was hardley ANY hair buildup around the blade that would have stopped its function so ofcoure i was mad at first. But i unscrewed the thing and gave it a cleaning and then added the oil.. suddenly it worked great. i finished cutting. seems the thing is just a little bit "high maintanence" thats all.

Not enough power!
I bought this thinking it would be nice to be able to give myself pedicures at home. It was meant to help me unwind, since doing something like this should also be kind of fun. I preface using it by soaking my feel in a relaxing heated foot bath, so my nails are softened up a bit before I use it. In spite of this, the unit simply does not have enough power even for basic maintenance. It takes a hours to recharge fully, so plan ahead before using it! And even with a full charge, it runs out of energy before you can use it on both feet. I've found that if I attempt to file and then buff my toenails it only lasts long enough for one foot, and then I have to recharge it again for hours before I can do the other one. Essentially, it takes a full day (or two separate days) to give myself a pedicure with this. While making it rechargeable (and not having to worry about a cord getting in the way) makes sense in theory, I would much rather deal with the minor annoyance of a cord instead of the major annoyance of a product that isn't up to the job! I shudder to think how ineffective it would be if I attempted to use it without using the foot spa first!

Next time I'll try to find one that either plugs in or tells you in the item description how long it takes to recharge and how long it should hold the charge for! The only advantage to buying this one is that it was cheap, so at least I didn't waste too much money on it.

Not worth the money
I have used this one time and put it away. The bits are so smooth, they don't work to sand or buff nails at all. The motor is ok but not very powerful. It just wasn't worth the money. Also, it took 11 days to ship and another several to arrive.

Piece of junk
The bearing between the upper and lower blades is made of plastic--designed to wear out after a short period of use, and it does.I will replace mine with a Braun or similar well-made brand.

Best features and most expensive "disposable" on the market
I purchased this trimmer for my husband a couple of years ago for Christmas. Until then, he had not used any kind of "power tool" on his beard. He was very pleased from the beginning. About a year ago the moving cutter blade began losing its teeth. At first is was just a couple of them, but now he only has a couple of them left, making it nearly impossible to use effectively. I have returned several times to the place I purchased it in hopes of finding a replacement. No such luck. I have as of yet been unable to locate one anywhere and am considering tossing it and getting a new one. "disposable" defined. If the cutters were available (perhaps it is a factory repair only thing??) it couldn't be beat for quality and affordability.

Plain and simple...IT DOESN'T WORK
I would have rated it zero if only the scale went that low. These tweezer-type hair removers do not work. Anyone who says they've tried it and it worked is deluding themselves. The hair will grow back. I was suckered into one several years ago before doing the research on it and I will never be duped again. Electrolysis works by inserting a needle into the hair shaft to deliver the (painful) shock which eventually destroys the follicle. The tweezers don't deliver enough energy to do anything. Please don't waste your money or hope on this useless product.

Didn't work for me
First, its really boring and unmotivating to use this product as you have to switch off the radio/TV etc, before using it.
Second, its very tedious.
If it was effective, it would have probably been worth the effort, but the hair wouldn't come off after more than 20 seconds of holding.

Didn't work for me. I gave up after several tries.
Jay

Didn't Work for Me At All!
I was so excited to get this product because I hate shaving. However, I quickly found out that it wasn't nearly as effective as it claimed to be. I tried hair from all over my body (legs, underarms, eyebrows, etc.) to see if I could get it to remove one hair. Just ONE hair! Nothing doing. I found out later that electrolysis is best for fine, light colored hair. Well, I have plenty of those, but I don't really need those removed - I need the dark, coarse hair! I was really disappointed. On the positive side (if you have fine, light hair that needs to be removed) it is fairly easy to use, although it takes forever, and has clear instructions. The multi-hair remover coil doesn't work so you really have to try and remove one hair at a time. It isn't very painful, I mean you can feel a kind of weird sensation under your skin, but it doesn't hurt - it just doesn't work...

Why do you sell this?
My experience is similar to the other reviewers. The second time I used it one of the comb/spacer attachments fell on the floor and broke eliminating the optimal length for me. The unit never held a charge between uses, and now, after only a few months won't take a charge at all. Even if I had kept my sales receipt, I wouldn't bother to ship it back for warranty repair or replacement. It is in the trash where it belongs. Why does Target continue to sell such a useless product that all the customers complain about?

It doesn't hold a charge
My boyfriend bought this trimmer and after only using it a few times the battery won't hold a charge longer than about 10 minutes, even after charging it for many hours. I wouldn't waste money on this one.

To the Morons that bashed this razor!!!
If you would have purchased a Norelco, you might have had better luck!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, TIGHTWADS!!!!!

IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!! cont'd
Just some corroborating evidence I copied from hairfacts.com :
NOTE: Finally Free is a "transdermal" device.

By the end of 1998, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had finally stated that electric tweezers had produced no statistically significant data indicating the devices could perform permanent hair removal.

In 1999, the FDA stated that they had not evaluated claims made by these "transdermal" devices and that they were not allowed to make claims of permanent hair removal.

IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! It doesn't work. Not even a little. I bought it along with two of the large refill packets which I used on my face (upper lip and chin) over a four month period as per instructions. There was NO noticable difference in the number of hairs OR coarseness. In other words, my money and time was completely wasted. It definitely was too good to be true. Instead, spend your money on lazer treatments (expect at least 4 treatments)- much more expensive but it is the only thing (besides electrolysis which takes many, many, many more treatments) that works.

UBEARABLE BARING
Yikes! I'll wear slacks forever before putting my skin through this painful and useless process.

Rather than removing hair it merely irritated the skin around the hair. Needless to say wasting my time and money also irritated me.

European women don't even think about body hair removal. Mama mias know best.

Another One w/ a Dead Battery
I had to write in and share my displeasure at this product as well. Like the other reviewers, I also received my watch with a dead battery and had to pay an additional $5 dollars to get the thing to even work. Additionally, changing the battery is a wicked chore since you have to take the entire watch almost completely apart. The instruction manual is VERY difficult to understand! I'm currently shopping for a heart rate monitor for my wife and this time I must say that I will definately choose the POLAR product instead.

Run like an Egyptian
This HRM is a complete waste of money... well, unless you're educated in deciphering hieroglyphics and don't mind buying previously opened products. The instruction manual is a joke (hence the comment), the included batteries are dead (another $5 purchase just to get it to work), and getting everything set up requires the intuitive guile of MacGyver- not to mention tools found only at a watch repair shop (you need to remove the wrist bands to get to the battery).
Right now Amazon is having a special on the Polar M71ti- which has a few less features and a more advanced fitness purpose, but comes from a more respected company. Think about it this way, a Yugo and a Mercedes are both cars, but which one would you rather go the distance with?
And now the Mercedes is now on sale for roughly the same price as that iniquitous econobox (about $10 more because of CA sales tax); not to mention that this Oregon Scientific model resembles something out of a Yugoslavian industrial design center.
Go with the Polar, and as a bonus, it looks great- just like you will after a few months of using it.

Oregon Scientific HR318 Trainer Pro Heart Rate Monitor
The name of this item SHOULD give it's purpose away. It TRAINS you to lower and RAISE your heart rate artificially by such means as modern "must haves" like a HRM. that just don't work well. And come with lousy instructions. And battery with no shelf life
By the way, DESPITE it's shortcomings, this item is very accurate. The lady next door pointed out to me when she saw my Oregon Scientific HR318 Trainer Pro Heart Rate Monitor on my wrist that when the screen goes blank, you have actually EXPIRED. At least the paramedics pointed that out to be the case with her husband who had a major coronary. I'm just pointing out the accuracy of the item not a cause and effect.
I'm no M'cedes owner but doesn't the 500 series come with a HRM's for the whole family as standard equipment?
I can't believe how fickled this audience is. I have reported the same problems as other reported and it seems I'm being chastised for it.
