I was very eager to use this product. I had all sorts of various files and clippers to keep up with and I thought this would be a great replacement. I was a little disappointed when I had to let the hand set charge for over 18 hours before I could get full power. My disappointment increased when the cheap plastic attachments started breaking after just a few uses. We can not use the nail filing disks because they will cause a friction pain if you use them at the wrong angle. I had big hopes for this product but all I got was a big disappoinment!

I used this stuff exactly as they said. I did the patch test and it was fine. I put this on the next day and immediately it started to tingle...........I could handle this, then it started to burn a lot............ I could not wipe it off effectively so I got in the shower and washed it off. I was left with a hairless bleeding back. Now my back is all scared up with scabs. Do NOT use this product unless you are really into pain. Go al natural that is much better.

If you don't have a sensitive skin, I guess that wil be fine. espeically, you shouldn't use this for your armpits

You are better off with an old school mercury thermometer.

I recently purchased this ...and much to my surprise, it arrived with weak batteries, I never even got one salinity check. It did have batteries as the lcd display flashed numbers. I contacted Oregon Scientific and requested that they delivery more batteries; they would not.
I expect to get some life out of a newly purchased product and I'd think that Oregon Scientific would either deliver a functioning product or say batteries needed.

I was pleased with how it worked innitially. The slight "buzzing" while it was on was definitally audible, and might be annoying to some, but as it was in my closet, I didn't mind. The ozone it produces smells like an electrical short, so the imediate result was not a plesant smell. This electrical smell faded with time, and my shoes did loose the "old-used-shoe" odor, and those that I wore without socks *felt* fresher. So overall, I was pleased.

Unfortunately, one of the two "wands" stopped working after about 2 months. The second "wand" starter to peter-out after 3 months.

I've further lowered my rating because I am having difficulty reaching the manufaturer for repair/replacement. The box claims that the item has a one-year waranty, but I can't find a phone number or any specific information on how to return the unit.

It is possible that I just got the one bad unit out of a large number of excellent ionic shoe fresheners, but I might never know, as I am having difficulty returning the thing.

I wouldn't purchase anything from these people. The item that I was sent included only the blade and the spring - not the screen at all.

I have complained three times and they do not respond.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER PURCHASE FROM THESE BASTARDS!

Who would want to wear this thing. Grow the hair on your front, shave it and paste it on your head. That whould work better.

The lower heat settings were always too hot. After a couple unpleasant weeks of using this product my hair actually was singed to the point where a clump came off. This happened on the LOW setting! Needless to say i have returned this product.

These rollers were hard to handle and extremely hot. They wouldn't stay in the hair once rolled and were too hot on the scalp.
