Complete Rip Off
This product is a complete rip off. It does nothing it claims to do and when trying to take advantage of the guarantee, they never respond.(...)

Approved by the FDA???
OK, yes this product has been approved for use by the FDA. BUT, after doing some research on the FDA's website, I have discovered that all that takes is proving that this system is "essentially equivalent" to systems already out on the market! I also found that, according to the FDA, there is no statistically significant data available (even from their "published trials" which I had no luck in locating) to support claims of long-term or permanent hair removal through use of tweezer-type epilators. Bottom line...check the advertiser's claims before you buy their product because obviously these claims don't hold water!

A Pain in the A**
Bottom line is, it sort of works ... you have to hold each hair
for 30-60 seconds to make it turn loose. And one treatment won't kill the hair. Imagine doing this for each and every hair! Believe me, this is a slow, slow, slow process.

It works better on thin hairs. Heavy chin hairs are immune to this product. So if you have a few thin eyebrow hairs to kill, it might be worth your time. But I would rather be washing a cat than use this thing again!

Really Bad
Doesn't Really work. Try Wahl Trimmer on Amazon. Much Better.

Don't bother
Doesn't work worth a flip.

Save you $10.

Performance is only skin deep.
The Conair NE151R is probably about the best looking nose and ear hair trimmer I've ever owned. But all this beauty comes at a price, performance. My previous personal trimmer was a Conair MN160CS, which was functionally the greatest trimmer I've ever owned. My loving family got me a Men's 10 piece grooming kit model GK3 from Conair, which includes the NE151R, for an early Fathers Day gift. Nothing beats grooming tools on Fathers Day, except for maybe socks, a tie, or pictures of your wife cheating on you. But my MN160CS was getting old, so with reckless abandon I stepped up to my new trimmer. The first thing I noticed was it came with no battery. It takes a AA, so I now have one more remote that won't work. After getting over that, I started using the NE151R.It wasn't nearly as high rpm as my MN160CS and it resulted in an almost tearing sensation instead of cutting. Nothing I couldn't get used to I guess. But to be a good father, I took this beauty along with me on a business trip. I've never been able to communicate with the young people I travel with for work, mostly because we are from different times, and they never give the old timer his respect. Just like I'm sure I didn't when I started out. On this particular trip my 20 something business associate shared a hotel suite with me. We tried to make small talk about sports and what not, and during that talk he commented on how well groomed my nose and ears were and he wished he was that smooth shaving. So I busted out the NE151R to let him use it. When he saw it he said "Man that is sweet!" a phrase my 17 year old son often uses. He couldn't get over the fact an old timer like me would have such a trendy trimmer. He used it, and his face kind of lit up like my youngest son when I bring him toys home from trips. The next day I got my young freind his very own NE151R during a lunch break, and he now looks at me like a father figure. I can't get him to leave me alone! In the end the NE151R ended up being the most useful tool I've ever owned.

very worrying device
I dont know whether the Tanita Breath alert is accurate or not. There is very little information available, other than one site, http://www.halimeter.com/bostonchannel1.html, which offers the advice that it is overly sensitive and gives high readings for the majority of those tested - did they all have bad breath that day? I know that it has given very erratic readings (both high and low), and I have been unable to find any informaion, on the Tanita Website, or anywhere else, which gives correlations between the tanita readings and the ppm readings that you would expect from a Halimeter. The device has affected my confidence considerably, and I would caution those who are wanting to know if they have a problem, that this will make your fears worse. I am off to the dentist!

Something stinks!
This product is supposed to quantify the odor of your breath and let you know if it stinks...but it's actually the breath detector itself that stinks!

We attempted a repeatability study and found the unit to give inconsistent results even though the tests were performed within minutes of each other. Save your money and buy a good toothbrush!

inconsitent
I think a portable device to check one's breath is a great idea, however, as it turned out Tanita HC201 Breath Checker will give very different results (from No Odor to Slight Odor to Moderate Odor to Strong Odor) depending on how hard you exhale, how wide you open your mouth, the exact position of the device and even on the position of your tongue. This makes the device essentially useless. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because it's a "cool idea". Hope they will improve it, e.g. make it into a whistle-shaped device, and normalize against the amount of air going through it or something.

NO STARS
This ... Interplak toothbrush is posibly the worst item I have ever purchased from Amazon, unfortunately I threw out the packaging before trying out the product the next morning, and now I cannot get my money back! I changed the batteries a number of times but the brush head moves too slowly to clean any teeth. My ... Crest Spinbrush is much better than this.

NO STARS! (You should have a slot for NO STARS)
This is possibly the worst product I have ever purchased...and at such a high price, no wonder it is no longer manufactured! My $5 Crest Spinbrush works 5 times better than this Interplak product, which cost me 5 times more! I threw out the packaging immediately b/c I had faith it would work and now I can't return it and get my money back! The brush and motor work extremely slow and do not clean properly...it is totally worthless....

This air purifier does not work!
... it didn't work at all. Supposed to be new, the light goes on but no ions are coming out ...
I've had other brands of personal ionizer, Air Supply, Sharper Image, that do work. You can smell the ionization and there is a hum. This product is a dud.

Enviromental concern
I bought this as a gift for my wife, who as asthma and is allergic to dust but she did not like it.

My wife was worried about the O3 {ozone} released. The O3 is what cleans the air, but that in itself has been considered a polluntant for asthmatics to avoid. Until she sees real evidence of its effectivness from a reliable source she will not use it. She would rather stick to HEPA filters which are recommended and approved by a large number of professional and medicial recommendations.

Please don't buy it.It is waste of money.
I bought it on May 19th 2002 and gave it as present to my father-in-law , who lives in foreign country.Unfortunately I never tested it before giving him this product. He opened the gift pack after 1 year , the first time and is not working at all.I don't suggest anybody to buy this product. If at all you want to present anyone anything just test it before you give them to avoid humiliation.I bought it for $64.I would have used this money for other purpose.

Scared me to death!
So my blood pressure was running high-normal, and my Doc recommended that I take steps to lower it and get a BP monitor to track my progress. When I began using this I became more and more concerned that my head might pop off!! Just got back from my 2 month follow up. The good news is that my blood pressure has actually dropped a little. The bad news is that I wasted my money on this inaccurate piece of junk.

Very disappointed in this product
We tested this in the Florida sun at 3:00 PM and got no reading of UVB output. We also tested this on new UVB bulbs coming out of the box that also gave a 0.00 output, we tested six of these and it was the same with all.

Sees about as much UVB as a shadow...
Well, we got this to test out on the Powersun bulbs produced by ZooMed. These are mercury vapour bulbs used to give off essential UVB that reptiles require to process Calcium & Vitamin D3. These are industry standard bulbs for San Diego Zoo, as well as many other large zoos & educational establishments.

According to this little meter, none of our bulbs are giving off ANY UVB, neither are our flourescent UVB tubes. Apparently the sun's a little lacking in UVB too these days - even here in Sunny ol' Florida.

For 28 bucks, with the potential savings (if it worked) for a great many people, it was worth buying just to see if it was any good. Now I've actually seen how it works, it's worth about $3 for a neat lil digital clock. That's about it though.

Didn't work, at all.
It works for less than a minute and then the blades stop spinning. At first I thought it was just the battery included with the package, but after a new one the same thing occurs. Too bad. The size of this product is great for those of us with big noses who find the other shavers too unwieldy to really get at the hairs. But unfortunately, it doesn't work.

Returning this dud
Received this as a gift last night and if you own this, I hope yours works better than mine. Charged the battery overnight as directed and this afternoon I attempted to use the "Professional Nail Salon." It fits nicely in the hand. That's the only positive I can say about this product. Yes 6 "heads" are included, but not even one would remain in the "Professional Nail Salon" for even a minute. The suckers repeatedly flew out of the tool, flying all over the room and driving me nuts. I think I'll pull out my Dremel flexible shaft and try that instead to finish the job I tried to begin today. At least I know the drill bits remain firm in that one until I want them removed!

OUCH
I ordered this in addition to an epilator. I intended to use this for the face, underarms, bikini area and touch ups on my legs...No way! There is no protector of any kind on this..it will grab your skin. I tried touch-ups on my legs and this thing goes so fast and just grabs anything....I did try the face since that is what they say its for...No way! Talk about pain...This is being returned!!
