What a purchase!!
I received mine today and they look wonderful. I love that they look handpainted. Each one is just a little different then the other, but not enough to look weird or anything. I have used Pfaltzgraff dishes for years and I keep coming back because of the quality of dish you get. They are strong and sturdy yet very pretty.

    A much-missed favorite!
My cats and I recently relocated to Germany. And while my four-pawed trio has generally taken the move in stride and adapted to their new home in a manner that has filled me with new love and admiration for them, there is one item now sorely lacking in their lives: Pounce Tuna Treats! For as long as we've been together (and in the case of the two females, that means their entire life), there has not been a better way to reward them or just show them my affection than by giving them some of these ... but Pounce is nowhere to be found on the shelves of German stores! My cats are not generally picky in their food choices; they willingly accept most everything appearing in their bowls. But they have made it quite clear to me that a decent substitute for Pounce is yet to be discovered. In the meantime, what's a poor cat owner to do???

Food Saver Vacuum Canister 3.25 Qt; A Good Choice
I first saw these at Wal-Mart in Florida, they sell for the same price. I like the canister size, it can hold a large box of Cereal or 6 - 7 fresh beagles or a large box of instant potatoes, even big bags of cookies and keeps them from going soggy. I cut any cooking direction need from the boxes and use a rubber band to hold it to the canister. The Bulk Canisters
cost too much and are bigger than you will need also none of them come in a 3 Quart size. This wide mouth canister is better than a Mason jar which i think doesn't comes in a 3 quart size. I now have 5 of these and will get more as needed. I figure the large bag of chocolate chips I buy at Costco will call for one. I also keep fresh French bread in one for 2 weeks just need to cut it in half so the whole loaf will fit, it remained as fresh as the day I bought it. Just remember that fresh bread needs to be refrigerated or it will grow hair even in a vacuum. Found out the hard way, lost a bunch of fresh bagels that way.

      Love this vacuum!!
I have a Hoover Windtunnel upright vacuum cleaner that I use for rooms with wall-to-wall carpet. It is useless for bare floors (keels over at the slightest tug), and after years of sweeping dirt around I broke down and bought the Bissel Butler Revolution vacuum for my bare floors and area rugs. What a difference!! The vacuum is light enough so that it is no effort to move it around the floor, and it does an excellent job picking up dirt. I use this vacuum on wood, tile, area rugs, furniture, and stairs. I do have to lift the vacuum head up and place it over large objects (like the whole cheerios my kids are so good at dropping on the floor), but the amount of time and effort it saves compared with sweeping is well worth it. Also, after having used a Hoover on my wall-to-wall carpet, I had no idea that it was possible to vacuum the edges of the floor and have them come out clean, much less immaculate! Although the bags are small, the dust cup captures a lot of the dirt and is very easy to empty. I was hoping to find a lighter vacuum, but this one really isn't difficult to move around with at all, and it has a nice, long retracting cord -- another really nice convenience.

      Perfect design for hard floors
I bought this vacuum after spending a month in Europe staying with friends. It is much more common there to vacuum hard floors which Americans would usually sweep instead, and they have canister vacuums similar to this one to do it. Shortly after I returned to the States, I moved into a new place with hardwood floors and I knew I wanted one of these vacuums. I did a lot of searching for a similar style vac and this was the best model at the best value. Amazon's price has dropped significantly since then--I paid almost twice as much for it, but I still couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The Butler Revolution is very well-designed. The canister can stand up or lie on its side, and has a nice handle that folds away. Those large wheels make the canister unit easily maneuverable--you can forget the canister is there dragging after you, and focus on cleaning quickly and efficiently with the flexible, lightweight floor cleaning tool. The light, small floor cleaning wand is really the key to being able to clean quickly and thoroughly with this vacuum. It's much quicker to maneuver than one of the larger, heavier, motorized brush heads designed for carpets. This design cleans better along the edges of walls and in corners, and is able to reach underneath furniture--these are usually the dustiest, dirtiest places, after all. The cleaning head and the handle are so flexible, I am able to reach into small or odd-shaped nooks and crannies and even vacuum the floor underneath my king size bed. The underside of the floor-cleaning tool is well-designed for hard floors. In front is a thin line of short bristles which help pick up dust, especially along baseboards. In the center is the cavity through which everything is sucked up, and behind is a squeegee-like rubber strip which prevents you from leaving anything behind. The floor tool is so low and close to the floor that sometimes in order to vacuum up larger objects like coins, bits of paper, or cereal, you have to lift up the head and position it directly over the object--a minor inconvenience, since the head is so light and easily maneuverable, and a fair trade-off considering this vacuum's overall cleaning abilities.

By no means would I recommend this vac for homes with much carpeting. It performs okay on my few rugs, but is a lot slower and less effective than a regular motor-driven brush head designed for carpets. I will probably still drag out my old upright once in a while to clean my room-size rug.

The fact that this vacuum is NOT bagless appeals to me. Having had a few, I don't understand the trend toward bagless vacuum cleaners. In my experience, they are a pain to empty out, and I end up coming into contact with all the dust I was trying to avoid in the first place, first emptying the dust cup, then cleaning out other screens, sponges or filters. I felt like I needed another vacuum to clean my vacuum! That said, I wasn't sure what I would think about the dust cup attached to the Butler's handle, but I was pleasantly surprised. Removal and attachment is quick and straightforward, and the dust empties right out--nothing needs to be shaken or rinsed. The cup catches and holds the larger items you vacuum up before they get to the vacuum bag, so that you hardly ever have to change the bag.

If you have hard floors, stop sweeping and buy this vacuum! You'll clean your entire house in record time. If you have more money to spend, you might want to consider the Eureka Oxygen canister line, which is also very well-designed and has HEPA filtration.

      smart design, good suction
I received my Bissell 6700 about a week ago from Amazon. I really love it. I used to have an upright with HEPA filtering. But it was heavy, hard to use and really didn't have very good suction even though it had a 12 AMP motor. This one is small, easy to lift (very nice handle), easy to get into corners, and the cup really motivates! The 20-foot power cord is long enough for me. I have both hardwood floors and carpet and it does an excellent job on both. The only negative thing is that you have to watch out for some static electricity on the plastic dust cup. But that is really a minor issue for such a good and cheap! canister vacuum

      Great Gift
This is a great gift to buy, especially for a wedding shower. No one thinks of this item to give as a gift. Copper goes with everything. It also has very tight lids. Great item.

      I love these canisters!
I bought these canisters a few years ago. They are by far the best and prettiest canisters I've seen. I have no problem keeping them clean. They seal great. The rubber seal hasn't broken down like I've had other canisters do. I have some very flavorful tea that has eaten the seals on other canisters and it hasn't eaten the seal on these. And the smell of the tea doesn't leak.

      Great Surprise!!
When I ordered these I was a bit hesitant;what the heck, I can use them for show. To my surprise not only are these beautiful, but very functional. Great seals on the lids to air lock contents. But the beauty; believe me you will be proud to display these on your kitchen counter. Enjoy!!!

      FoodSaver 3-Piece Canister Set
I have owned my foodsaver for 3 years now and it works great. I bought mine at costco which came with 2 canisters that worked so well i bought these to. I have brown sugar in mine for almost a year with no troubles, it doesn't get hard like when left in the bag. Mine even went on a move form ny to Fl and did not loose their seal. You need to make sure the tops of the canisters are clean and the lids before sealing cause if food is there they will drop the seal. I bought 5 3-1/4 canisters at wal-mart to hold large boxes of cereal, instant potatoes and fresh bagles & french bread just remember to put them in the fridge for bread.

No Description on Canisters, Bags, etc
I have had my Tilia Food Saver since they first came out. I have the very large canisters and would like to buy smaller ones. I am interested in the set you show here, but, there is no product description. I want to know exactly how much each canister holds.
I would also like to know about the bags; do I need a special attachment to use them?

Still a new FS owner, but LOVIN' it so far!
I received my FS Vac 820 for Xmas. I have used it quite a few things in the bags and I am so pleased with the results. I am looking forward to seeing the long term out come of this product.

I just had a birthday yesterday, and received all kinds of new goodies for it!! I can't wait to vac pack my kitchen...

      Very EASY Vacuuming
This is the best handy vacuuming device I have ever purchased. With 3 kids, 1 dog, 1 bird, and a very busy schedule, I wanted something for quick daily sweep-ups. I tried my dust buster, the electric brooms etc. This vacuum is perfect. I have wood floors and area rugs of various sizes and the transistion is easy. Just flip the switch. There is a handle on the top to aid handling. It's light and quiet. It empties and filters like a dustbuster. It rests upright when you want it to and doesn't klunk you on the head unexpectedly. Pick-up is great. Powerbrush works fine. The power cord is basically room size. This vacuum is the one to use for daily and weekly (even hourly) tidying up. I bought it a month ago and haven't brought out the Electrolux yet. Inevitably, I will because for the big time cleaning under the beds etc. I will need my canister vac. with the floor brush on the long handle. Buy this vacuum if you want to do the Monster whole house vacuuming less often. The Easy Vac is perfect for Quick EASY vacuuming.

      Suprisingly powerful
I bought this to replace my old vacuum, which was essentially a dustbuster on a stick. Imagine my disappointment when I got this, and found that releasing a simple latch allows you to remove the suction unit: it's a dustbuster on a stick.

But, surprise surprise, the dustbuster is super powerful, and the stick includes a powered rotating brush that really gets up dirt from carpets. This thing rocks.

It's not only effective and versatile, it also looks good. Not that appearance makes one bit of difference to the doomed dust bunnies on your floor, but this Powerbrush just looks and feels like a quality machine. It's relatively light and easy to handle, the clear plastic removable dirt collector lets you see when you need to empty it, and it's solid--this thing won't fall apart if it falls over.

Perfect for small apartments, dorm rooms, and condos. You might want to go with a bigger unit if you've got a lot of floor space and need super-deep cleaning.

Oh, and you can shut off the rotating brush with a simple flick of a switch mounted on the handle, allowing quick transition from, say, your carpeted living room to the hardwood-floored kitchen.

      Great buy. 5 stars.

      I Love It!
If you hate to sweep, get this vacuum for your wood and tile floor. I'm never using my broom again! It picks up all the cat hair, cat litter, sand the kids track in and who knows what else. It is quite an eye opener when you empty out the dirt cup to see what was on the floor. It is light and easy to handle. I would use a bigger vacuum for a large area of carpet, but it works great on throw rugs and entry way mats. Can't recommend it highly enough for kitchen and living room cleaning.
